Basic breeding (open pollination or use the branch and bag method?)

Alright

To keep it short and sweet, I have a Tangie male out of fluke, the stalk is straight orange peel smelling and it is a thriving plant and I would like to cross that with my snow dream, gsc, and night train. If I were to just open pollinate the whole room is it easy to clean up the pollin off the walls and what not?

Or should I just cut off all the branches and quarantine the male?

i took my hole plant and shook it over the females. worked fine. spray everything and clean everything afterwards.

i got over 1k seeds total but only around 600-800 viable. take into account 10-35% maybe not be fully mature during harvest.

Use the branch method. And make sure the male pollen sacs are mature enough to produce.

If you want; place your male in a separate room with a paper ring around the plant to catch the pollen sacs as they release/drop; that way you know the pollen is 100% ready.
