Interesting....

Thats odd since they write they try there very best to send good seds...there best might not be very good then lol...

well in any case maybe it was a bad pack plus i got it off the world wide seeds place and the "store owner" guy seems pretty cool so if i get shitty seeds hed prolly cut me a deal on my next purchase or something...
anyone elses opinions???
BTW G&C what was your setup when growing this strain??

I've got 7 Barney's Sweet Tooth ladies in the bud room right now. I got 7 out of 10 females which is a really good % and they look great. They are 3 weeks into bud and I put them in at abour 18 inches wich is big for me but now they are like 24 inches and full of nice yong buds with loads of res glands popping out everyplace. I did mine in an ebb system and had no trouble with the strain so far. I heard it can be tricky to grow but for me it has been easy but I have had many good grows in the past.

barney's farm sweet tooth strain is a cannabis cup winner, so you can expect it to be very resilient, and produce loads of bud.

I am currently growing it, just put them into flower but I have had zero problems thus far and its my first grow. good luck!

nice sweeth tooth sounds delicious
growing barnys sweettooth now, i had 2
phenotypes which are pretty diffent
type 1 i no longer grow as i found it of little use to me

type 1 flower 7-8 weeks
type 2 flower 10-11 weeks

i only started with 10 seeds so my results may not be typical as this strain does not seem to be as uniform as others i have grown with quite a bit of diffence between phenos

type 1 grows medium indica style leaves pretty thin for an indica but not quite thin as sativa, the buds from type 1 are very dense with a huge amount of resin the buds look very white with resin , some of the leaves turn a dark red / purple during the end of the flower period, the taste is a sour / sweet cherry flavor the buzz is a typical powerful indica (sleepy)
the yield was ok but not great as the buds / clusters never seemed to meat up with eachother more a case of isolated clumps of bud the best thing about this pheno was the amount of visible resin it was huge .. still the lack of yield and sour taste made me get rid of it

type 2

type 2 also grew leaves that for an indica dominated strain seemd quite thin to me much the same as type 1
the lateral branching of both these phenotypes was such that each branch split into 2 or 3 other side shoots that became almost as big as the branches themselves this helped to produce a huge yield with this pheno as all the buds became large bud clusters too .. this plant makes a very nice compact plant or also can be grown large 4ft or so and produces a huge yield .. around 12-14 oz or more per plant
unlike type 1 the buds from type 2 are very sativa like, long thin to begin with with not as much visible resin as type 1 as the bud clusters grow they appear to get big and fluffy (shaped and size like pine cones) but when they dry they shrink alot, this is pretty typical for a non dense sativa style bud,
the huge yeild from this plant comes from the volume of top colas (heads) virtualy every branch and lateral branch forms into a huge fluffy top cola the middle and bottom branches also produced large colas

the high from this peno is very very nice very clear uplifting high .. totaly diffent to type 1, this pheno gets your really high .. talkative speedy infact , mildy psychedelic too , all without feeling overwhelmed by a sleepy feeling as many hybrids seem to give me , as type 1 did

i also have a sativa ak47 pheno, which seems pretty flat and alittle (sleepy) now compared to sweettooth type 2 , i really am overall pleased with the high this plant gives !

sadly the taste of type 2 is ok but not the best , overall its not a bad taste it leaves a sweet after taste but its mild none of the flavours are quite pronounced enough , with a hint of hash/spicey, with a herbal, slight skunky taste in the mix too, what i do like about the smoke/taste of this pheno is the smoke seems so smooth, you can inhale this one very deeply and seem to absorb all the smoke without coughing your guts up, like you would do with type 1

the great high and yield from this pheno have won it a place in my garden for now

type 2 flower 10 weeks
high/buzz 9.5 /10
yield 9.5 / 10
taste 7 / 10 (could of had more flavour)
appearance 7/10 (bit fluffy) not as many crystals as some
smell 7/10 (mild)

hydro nft /
vitalink max + buddy +halo (harpin)
3x 600w sodium

few pics of type 2 at 7weeks of flower
