Barney's Farm Seeds

Has anyone actually seen a report on the Barney's Farms strains?

They claim 22%+ THC on almost every strain

And CBD of 1%+

it just seems suspicious that every strain would be so potent,
i was just hoping for some feedback from RIU community before possibly buying some of these seeds for future grows

Please provide link if you find a lab report on any of their strains

but i'd just love to hear some of your experiences from this breeder

They just won 2010 High Times Cup stain of the year for Tangerine Dream, and most good breeders talk about Barney's as one of the really good guys. I've got some seeds coming in, so I'll know soon...

I love that podcast by the way, but they've been gone since the 4/20 week. Bored....

Barney's actually has the most cannabis cups with over 30
for whatever that's worth to you

LSD is top notch. Probably the strongest hitting, best tasting strain I've ever had. Excellent medicinal properties, primarily for nausea and migraines among others. Highly recommend that one.

Blue Cheese is also very good. Amnesia Lemon is nice. Pineapple Chunk is so-so.

Vanilla Kush sucks horribly. Heard good things about Violator Kush.

I'm on the last couple of Flowering the LSD and the structure and smell is excellent... citrus with a lean toward oranges. It's stayed short-medium with nice solid buds running all the way down the branches and the main cola. I'm also running White Russian beside it so we will see how they smoke. The White Russian smells more like Hash and has finished this week. I'm pretty happy with the LSD as far growth, crystallization, and aroma to this point.

Also I'm curious about ur white russian, I got an auto flower white Russian from g13 labs as a freebie. What breeder did yours come from?

I'm running the original Serious Seeds White Russian. I bought it as a single from the the Tude's pick and Mix. Both plants did not clone easily but the LSD did actually clone. None of the White Russian clones survived even after two tries. That might be helpful to note also.

Thanks for the info on white russian but since mine is an auto flower i didn't have plans to clone, i was just curious about your impression of the plant, yield? smell? smoke? effect? medicinal value?

What I tried was G13 Haze-It had a couple different pheno's awsome yeild nice buzz

Tangarine dream-No luck the seeds I got were immature.

Red dragon- one of my favorite's good yeild,,,awsome bud's and killer buzz.

Lsd- I got light fluffy well shaped bud's was a pain in the ass to manicure the buzz was OK IMO,,,Not what everyone is hoolering about maybe mine were differet?

all together i had good Luck with Barney Farm's except the Tangarine dream that never germed.

A lot of people have reported something like that, what a bummer.

Keep in mind that when a breeder sends in a sample, it has probably gone through a selection process and is the best representation of the strain. Also, sometimes THC content includes THCA, which can be converted to THC.

I feel that barneys has high potency strains because of their particular selection process, in other words, high potency is what they like to grow/smoke. I have grown Nightshade which is a great producer and has a very fine pine-tree flavor. I found that it needs longer than the reported 8 weeks, 10-12 is more like it. I am currently growing LSD and it seems they will need longer than 8 weeks as well. I am unhappy with my LSD purchase as my seed produced a plant which smells like decaying tomato vine, but I don't blame the breeder for this. It is the nature of genetics.

Overall I would say barneys genetics are a great value and I will certainly always have a few of their strains in my garden.

Hey Jerry, I have one Vanilla Kush that's almost finished. What did you dislike about it? Mine is stretchy and spindly with WEIRD looking buds. They DO smell like vanilla, but I was unimpressed with it's growth pattern.

Have you heard of his Dr. Grinspoon? That looks nice, Its pure Sativa.

i have done Pineapple Chunk and Vanilla Kush - both excellent in my opinion - Vanilla grew nicely and the smoke is heavenly - in fact i think it is my favorite tasting weed that i have grown..

The LSD is the best bud i have personally ever grown, taste smell, look this is a triple winner Barneys Farm will forever be a choice of mine among....everyone else.

Hey im a clone guy but i want to try some strains i cant find in clone form..My question is how long does Barney's usually take to deliver?? and do they feminize their seeds??

I did make a few veg mistakes I don't normally make with the vanilla kush. Maybe that's why it's growth was iffy. BUT I cut it down last night and it looks/smells INCREDIBLE. So many damn trichs man! I have a feeling I'm gonna agree with you. Can't wait to smoke her. Think I'm gonna pick up a violator kush clone today....Looks nice too.....
