Barneys Farm LSD 90 watt CFL scrog grow

few changes made to the cabinet
added 2 x 25 watt warm white bulbs,

Brings total wattage up to 170 watts.

having slight problem with temperature at the moment, its -1 degrees celcius overnight and about 1 degree during the day.

even with all those lights on , the cabs temperature sits around 15 degrees. and drops down to almost zero with no lights on during the night hours.

this is freaking me out a bit, im sure the plant can hold out for a few more days,

i just ordered a dimplex 60 watt tube heater to insert into the cab to try and combat temperature drops. wont be here untill monday earliest i reckon. think my plants will be ok?

plants look like they have a long way to go but looking healthy at the moment.

How is the temp geting so low when the lights are on... Especially with the warm warm whites in, By any chance are your plants in a shed? Probably pretty cold. Im having ventilation problems with the heat geting up to 25-30 degrees celcius for my 12 day old babys. + Your plants will like the heat increase for budding. PEACE:weed:

The only 2 23w lights i had smashed after a drunk night last night (fell on my vegetation box). I have 1 20w left and no money for 2 days... Grr. i should put them with my 5 outdoor purple power plants which are really actually starting to go purple.(I have pics of some on my profile from last week.) When i get some more lights ill post pics straight away - even thoe i may have to now start over.

its official, my plants have been through hell the last 6 days.

i just got the heater delivered today. its in the cab now. and the ambient temperature seems to be around 9/10 degrees.

im of on holiday for 5 days . so plants are gonna go without water.

because of the cold nights and the plants having to put up with 15 degrees during light hours and 1 degree during dark hours, they have been stressed and i can see the tips of leaves turning brown.

hopefully when i get back the plants will recovered slightly now that the heater is in there.

does anyone know if plants can make a recovery after been subjected to such poor conditions?

Just as long as they arent being stunted, they'l be fine. Leafs dieing is what always naturally happens in there outdoors enviroment if its all organic. It wont have any effect to growth e.g unless its alot of leaves being lost. + is it on ends of the fan leaves? If so, you could fim them when you get back if its takeing over the leaf it'l be sweet. Have a good holiday & peace.

plants are recovering , however, while away on holiday for 5days, one of the plants grew into the cfl and got seriously burnt. about 4 -5 inches of the top.! GONE AND BURNT!

Uh... Never heard of it. I was wondering what barneys farm was. Even my good stoner friend asked me if you accidently put LSD instead of LST. But i saw no LST'ing going on.

one of the pictures shows the plant on the far left (while having been on holiday) accidently grew into the cfl and burnt. but has made a recovery. one plant will grow to outsize the growbox. will need to apply some low stress training to put that bad boy back in place.

these fotos are at the end of 3rd week flowering

keeps the cab temperature up during those freezing (below zero) temperatures in the shed.
