So i been working on this for a minute, and they finally gave me some samples today.i could not get home quick enough and clean these fuckers up for some pics.anyhow,im building a new shop and i will need 20 of these easy but i wanted to see if there was an interest in them so i can make them cheaper in bulk.if i get a decent response and can hit 100 with either size they will be much cheaper than what i just paid for these,120.00 for the biggie and 110.00 for the lil guy(prototype pricing).anyhow i think if i make them in larger orders i can send these to most U.S states for 65.00 (3 foot)& 75.00 (4 foot) .these are estimated # untill i can figure out what freight will be.plus im still waiting on some thinner stock that is quite a bit cheaper.these are 1/4 in thick x 6 in wide x 47.5in(4 ft) and 37.5in on the (3 ft)
the other bars are same size just using 1/8 in aluminum.but the thicker bars will make for nice heat sinks for all you crazy bastages using far reds and blue diodes.plus i will test the smaller 120mm heatsinks from robin to see if the bar helps the heatsink at higher wattages like running 62w on a 120mm.should work since the whole bar is solid aluminum but idk yet lol.of course i still need to plan a few holes for hooks to hang these, maybe this weekend i can get a few hung up .

in other news all this back n forth with a bunch of cnc dummies has me thinking about buying my own machine which will allow me to make any size custom bars for about 40 to 50 bucks each(depending on size) out the door

you think im crazy now, wait till my old lady see's the truck pull up with a 5000.00 cnc cutter lmao :eyesmoke: what
lil bar has the 120mm heatsink and the bigger one has the 140mm x 80mm heatsinks. oh yeah @robincnn thanks for changing those fuckers on me....again...shesh guy changes heatsinks like i change my draws :bigjoint:

those are nice @sixstring2112 you might consider using a GG controller without dimming to control all those bars. i love that logo. I have a few guitars myself. I love my blues box and my epiphone gibson knockoff and my fender srat.

Will the 140mm pin sinks with the Khatod lenses fit on these Six?
you woud have to put the lenses on the top side of the bars.i use the lense holes in all robins heatsinks as my mounting holes.so if the heatsink fits the bar the lenses should also work but you would only have the 2 screws where the slots are holding it on,if that helps.

Ok thanks. That's my biggest issue and I like the lenses so much I am not willing to swap them out. Good to see you around again :)

Have you considered moving your end cob holes out a bit so they split a cob in half? Then you could link the Al panels together for longer runs with a seamless look.

Those frames look awesome.

Khatod can be attached on heatsink and then heatsink can be installed on frame. Heatsink will not have contact with the frame as there will be lens holder in the middle.

See attached pic. Khatod holder has a 2 small tabs that pops out and it goes in the heatsink. The frame will need to have hole to let these tabs pass through. Then heatsink will have contact with plate for extra cooling and will also work with Khatod.
I will send a sample SSTX with Khatod drill pattern and a Khatod lens today. Once this windows is done updating

If the parallel support bars were adjustable, the CoB bars could be staggered. The resulting light would more evenly cover the canopy

They look sleek, but prices seem steep for what amounts to a frame.

That being said Im sure there is enough of a market for them for you to make money off of them.

I would probably go the custom order route as far as lengths and holes go etc, but that requires your cnc purchase first. Best of luck.

I made the ends that way for the sake of using less material but i can make the bars 8 feet long or even 10 feet if i ordered 10x sheets.the table is 5 x 10 :)
But i pretty much went off what i needed and those stacks of bars will def get used in my new shop if nobody grabs em up
