All these sites have to be careful. I've had a few threads here deleted just because I mentioned the price of a lb in my area.
As a website vendor, it's a really slippery slope
  • Illegal discussions take place on your website
  • authorities get a warrant to look into one specific user who claimed to sell hard drugs (or whatever other illegal activity)
  • servers get seized and 5-0 now have the login location and contact information for every user
Keeping it clean is the safest bet.

smh looks like some guy named deadlung just got banned from the Mag for backing up what I was saying, funny thing is I have no clue who the guy is, but he seems to confirm what I already know. Hey if anyone knows who deadlung is tell him to hit me up.

That site is frankly a bit pathetic. Their pic loading protocol is like loading drivers onto your PC in the eighties!

I have a similar thread there as I do here, and few ever visit.

Is RIU the biggest, by number of unique current users, site visits or some such? If not, who is?

I got banned from The Head Case Farm for the horrendous crime of not buying their seeds and being clone only. Seems I was too prominent on the site not to be one of Logic's lil minions...

Their loss. I'm pretty prolific and I know Damn good and well how valuable my content is. I get PMs constantly from people thanking me for some piece of advice or another that saved/made them boatloads of cash.

THCFarmer can have me back if and only if Logic himself posts an apology thread, making it clear that I was banned inappropriately. Since I'm not worried about that ever happening, seeing how it requires this thing called 'character', I'm perfectly happy to continue doing what I do right here...

Where I'm appreciated.

That's the handle of the owner and site admin at The Head Case Farm. He's been implicated in so many seed scams you've probably heard someone complain about being victimized.

not to be an asshole steppin in cause i know im one of those dreadin admins

but i mean its rarely banned for just having an opinion ..theres always two sides to every story

people cry and complain they get banned here for doing "NOTHING I SWEAR" yet thats not even remotely true.
idk what its like at ICmag ive never been , but i do know sometimes people like to "cry wolf" so to speak.

and lastly , if they own the forum they can do whatever they so please , you can cry freedom of speech but you always end up singing a TOS agreement before sign up saying mods can do whatever the hell they want to your account
meh *shrugs shoulders*

for the record i dont think ICMAG is a competing website to riu, i would think more like grasscity and riu are at the top when you do google searches,

i think so i could be wrong, its either us or grasscity
but i think we've been hitting higher since we switched from vbulletin to xenforo, we have MUCH LESS spam now, like ...the drop rate is so significant that more people are joining or staying

If you go on his threads and bad review or talk shit he has you banned.

whats annoying is that people still do it anyways when ask them not to cause it can get us in serious hot water.
but they just think oh well ill do it anyways cause fuck everyone else and their good time using a forum

also like almost everyone gets ripped off... and than they bitch to us about it. like you knew the rules man you did it anyways now youre suffering
