overall I wasn;'t very happy with my grow to be honest... Next time I'm going to go with like half as many plant in the same amount of space or bigger space and double the light.. Either way I didn't veg long enough and didn't have a sufficient root structure.. Nothing like last time when I let them fully root then vegged.. I got a bit anxoius this time.... I'm going to take a break from growing though for the summer months.. I have a feeling they'll be a apt inspection soon so I'm thinking of doing a wardrobe grow with either my 430w or some cfls (65w floodlights I already have) for shits and giggles.. then I could eliminate alot of noise and heat problems...plus I wanna get my celing patched asap..

Hey Bamm bamm, got any advice for patching holes in drywall? I almost vented into the ceiling like you but it made me a little nervous (didn't know where the air was going exactly) so ended up going through a wall into another closet/hallway.. anyway, I know I'll need to patch it up at some point, do you have any tips on patching to make it look like it never happened?

not to hijack, but for drywall patching I have used in the past some 1x2" pieces, just longer than the hole (like 8-9 inches for a 6" hole, with liquid nails on the end inch or two, just slip a few pieces in the hole, and pull them firmly against the interior side of the drywall.

then take a hole saw, or whatever saw you have, and cut a piece of matching thickness drywall to match the hole as closely as possible, and liquid nails it to the small 1x2" pieces that you have already installed (wait for them to dry to the wall before installing the plug.

then mud the gaps, dry and sand, and texture and paint to match.

helps to cut the holes in an inconspicuous area to begin with (ceiling of a closet or something similar)

I'd like to know how long that carbon filter lasts.
I went quite a bit bigger and even though it squashes the odor,
the thing is enormous like 60LBs.

carbon filters are supposed to last 1 yr with hobby grows, 6-8 months with big commercial ops.

ofcourse if you have bought a filter that is bigger than you need, your mileage will vary accordingly.

Filters are too expensive. Just stuff your tubing with dryer sheets.:bigjoint: Makes your yard smell super fresh.
