just figured out a good way to tie plants to bamboo(or whatever)...run the stick from the center of pot straight across to other side. now i use plastic ties to wrap around the shoot then down and around the bamboo thats goin across the pot. ..i have thought about this all day and just figured it out 5 minutes after postin. lol

Sometimes you just got to say it outloud...then it comes together. PLus, do you not have a good rootbase to hold in still?

I've never had that problem with bamboo stakes. I have with plastic tomato cages but not stakes.. I use the green soft ties to.tie branches to the stakes. The stakes never float up.
