Ballpark yield estimate?

This is my 4 month old, 65 inch (excluding 7gal pot) unknown strain (got the seed from the bottom of a random bag of weed) growing under a 600w metal halide for veg and now hortilux super hps for flower. I've read a half gram per Watt to 1 at best.... Is that accurate or does someone have a better approximation? I'm using the Dutch master nutrient line.

Thanks for the responses. Yea it's my first plant so very exciting. I put it on 12/12 a week ago... Hoping it doesn't get too much taller since I've read growth slows when bud formation begins and I don't have any more room to raise my light as you can see. How did you know how "early" it was? Are you looking at the density of the plant matter and seeing that it has no buds?

Ya. I am growing a new strain right now. Put 5 in my 5x5 tent. My buddy told me ya these only stretch about a foot in flower. He LIED. :bigjoint: They sure look pretty. Just a lot of work I was not planning for. Be nice to grow in the living room.

Don't know what you mean by even the canopy. Do you mean cut off a lot of the top to even it out with the bulk of the midsection? Or tying it down to do so? Also don't know what throwing a net on it is for.

bro, if that beast is 5' in veg, It could realistically hit 8-10' in flower. I bet it hits 7-8' minimum. probably should've flipped it to 12/12 about 2' ago (says Capt. Hindsight). If that was my plant (im not trying to tell you what to do, but if I was ficana have that height issue) and I couldn't move it outside, (man I hate to say this bc I don't want a bunch of folks jumping me, lol) I honestly would chop it in half and drop that light back down. I only say that bc I can see your ceiling and you may run into it soon in flower stretch and also a 600 isn't going to have the best penetration to the bottom branches from 8' up. I hope someone else throws their opinion in about this. with a 7' max light height, I flip to 12/12 at 18", 24" max. I have had quite a few plants more than double, a few almost triple in height during flower.

Take some work ,But doable. Will really increase yield if done correctly.
You might not be able to do it just RT with it that far a long.
I usually do it @ like week 3-5 of vegg strain dependent of course.

By keeping the canopy flat in a SCROG grow, all of the buds are in the productive zone. Your cannabis plant loves this and will reward you with many buds, all growing upwards from the screen as small kolas.

Cool. I'll try the Scrog on my clones. As for the big gal goes I'd like to avoid cutting if at all possible since Cervantes says any pruning within a month of flowering diminishes yield. Would tying some wire to the tops and pulling it over some help? I know people do that sometimes when they have space issues. I have a fluorescent I can add too since I'll have a larger plant surface area with it bent over. I though this gal would only grow 6inches more once I flowered her... Oh well...live n learn.

Somebeech does RT mean something or is that a typo?

Also, if I do bend her over (tee hee hee) will her leaves rotate so they face the light? I've heard it's bad for light to hit the underside of leaves.

Bend her over (gently) and spread her out. They like that shit.
This works great if you have enough light.Never heard of yield decrease from just simple pruning.
I do defoliate if it blocks the light from reaching the buds or lower branches.Or just bend them and do some lstn.
