UPDATE: DAY 21
Lots of growth happening along the main stalk with plenty of colas forming as well as a side branch already reaching up for light.
The one I fimmed is growing back more vigorously than the topped one but I was expecting that. The topped main cola has one tiny bud with obvious leaves
looking like cabbage and then next to it an even smaller stump. The LST also is really coming along well, I really wish I planned ahead for that.
I am using just twist ties and tape to keep it in place. Gonna keep growing them sideways until it branches out more and bushes up.
Still haven't used anything except water. Those nutes in the soil are really coming in handy. I may just wait till flowering before adding anything.
Have to do some work on light proofing though but it is unreliable with the constant blowing air and heat peeling away and some of the edges
I may just retape it and maybe smear some glue along the edges so no air can hit the tape edges.
I also moved them down a little lower by taking a book away to promote more upward growth. Overall I am happy that they are so small.
The smell is slowly creeping from both of them now so it is only a matter of time. Without further ado here are some updated pictures.
Fimmed growth.
Topped growth, minuscule to say the least.
My favorite part is seeing all the growth along the stalk happening.
LST
So far so good. Really bummed when I found out that when they say 60 days for flowering for example meant starting from flowering. I always thought it meant starting from seed. I guess if that were the case more people would be growing huh. I do know with autoflowering strains their days do mean from seed though.
