Bagseed Harvest

Wow, what a journey.

So I harvest my bagseed plant Leah. Final dry weight was about 40 g's I expect to loose some during the cure. To be hones the bud is really light and fluffy so it looks big but it only weighs so so. It smokes so-so and already has a skunky grass smell so I'm sure after the cure it'll be some smoking for fun bud.

I sampled a ton of it as it grew out of curiosity to see what weed smoked like in it's different stages...just wait to the end it sucks I assure you lol. Sadly I took more than I should because I'm a fiend but it's cool because this harvest is still 4x more than my last one and I say that is something to be proud of.

I got one more plant going and she should be ready in a few weeks but for now enjoy these few shots and feels free to ask questions.

Bagseed grown in a 2x2 tent with a 250W HPS and Fox Farms Ocean Forest.

Judging by the pistil concentration, you picked it early.

I think it's the genetics or heat. What were the flowering temps and light cycle?

Getting better genetics would be worthwhile, but not if it compromises your security.

looks ok does look early picked though could of maybe pushed another 10 g maybe more dry out of that harvest by working off trichomes but its bagseeds so freebies are good lol

Yes I pucked it at 50/50 clear and milky. There were a lot of nutrient problems and she was root bound. Her roots were bad loooking in some places so I had no mind harvestinf her. Its not very good weed though i do consider it a big step on the right direction.

High temps 90f on average during lights on. I lack ventilation bit that is being fixed soon. Genetics was bagseed but ibfucked up a lot and that is why is so airy.

Yea I grew bagseed for a long time. When I upgraded from CFL's to 150w HPS I had way too much heat and had 92f flowering temps and I got very small calyxes with a lot of hair and even some foxtailing. The bigger light actually reduced the quality of my bud until I changed out the fan with one with a better static pressure rating.

90f is too much, try to get it down to 80-82f.

If the seeds are from brick weed, try to find some Acapulco gold or whatever the best seeded weed is that you can find to get seeds from.

Also it can help to use a 10/14 or 11/13 light cycle instead of 12/12 when you are trying to finish.

I'm supposed to be getting an inline fan sometime at the beginning of next month. I'll be venting to the outside and doign a little DIY to get one half of my window unit blowing into the tent. I think it'll be grand the next time around.

Even low qualty weed saves you having to buy weed, this hobby starts paying for itself pretty quick.

Happened to me on my first grow. My buds were tight and dense when flowering. But I picked it early and also had high temps during flower including nitrogen toxicity. The very next day after I chopped it it turned into airy bud. Smoked a whole joint and didn't feel a thing.
