Bagseed Harvest @ 7 weeks(plant 1)

Well the long wait for these gurlz 2 be done is almost over.Plant 1(jane) was showing being done earlier than plant 2(mary).We wanted to take one when the trichs were mostly cloudy with only some amber.The other will go another week at least.Wednesday we cut some lower branches off and hung them to dry.yesterday we cut the remaining branches and left the main cola.this morning we cut Janes cola down.we almost shed a tear Mary was side eyeing us as we executed her sister.But she was ok with it when she realized she gets all the light now. the 1st buds were in the dark closet,with a fan outside ,blowing air through the crack.with the doors barely cracked open.Trying to not dry it too fast.after 3 days the buds felt dry only on the outside of the bud.we then put them into airtight jars(2.97/each walmart)and back into the dark closet.right now it smells like hay.We expected that.now we will burp them every day.We will do the same procedure with the others.The main cola may take a lil' longer.Our 1st grow w/cfl only.I know the dreaded c word!! next time will be with hps 4 flower.let us know what you think. Thanks guys!! I appreciate it! While were patiently waiting for buds 2 dry Were thinking when we harvest mary,we'll try the brown bag method of drying and curing.Anyone with feedback on that subject?personal exp.?

+rep, your buds look great man - keep us up to date on your cureing process. I'm about 3 weeks from starting that journey for the first time myself.

Thanks Law03, Dont get me wrong but I hope your username is made up of your initials or something man cuz your on a marijuana growing forum with a name like law is a lil' weird and scary.when I 1st saw it my heart was in my throat for a sec. Does anyone talk to you?????lol besides me???? please straighten us out!! I did check out your grow journal and your plants look very similar to Yellerz girls.only difference I see is your leaves are a lil' skinnier(more sativa mix probably),and the plants are way less branchy than hers. But I do believe we have some Northern lights mixed with something like big bud or similar. Does this look familiar?

Those look very similar to mine. And i agree that this prolly isn't straight up NL, because im on week 8 and they are no where near finished. I hope there is some sativa thrown in though.

And sorry about they name, maybe thats why people don't say much. It's just a name shortened, has nothing to do with "THE LAW".

I thought they looked alot alike.We were expecting to go 8-10 weeks too.we just kept watchin those trichs with our radio shack special(micro)until we saw mostly cloudy with some amber starting.we wanted a up/head high from one plant and crippler/couchlock buzz from the other.we also looked all over the plant,not just in one area.ours trichs were done earlier on the bottom buds as opposed to the top.
No problem with the name thing man,it just sounds scary.Ha-Ha Its common to not get many responses when your new.alot of stoned paranoid people on here.I'll talk to ya dude! Your cool with me anytime!!

thanks man! these 2 gurlz did all the hard work themselves.We just did all the worrying for them LOL They are a pretty hearty strain.they didnt even like alot of nutes to get that big.I think hps is the way for flowering but I am very impressed with how well they did.and cost nearly nothing as far as electric cost.I believe the yield would of been higher with hps.I think we'll get 1 1/2 - 2 oz per plant.not bad for 1st time.The other plant we have yet to harvest has 2 colas bigger than the 1st plants.The main one is huge and filling in more everyday.

Yes sir, a lil' under 400 watts of cfl's,above and for side lighting,in a closet 7' long x2' deep x 8' tall.Im amazed by it too.I cant wait to grow more of this strain with HPS.
I personally think all the growth was from sweet talkin these gorgeous ladies everyday! LOL Thanx

TY. There were about 15 there then, 20 now. Good eye, BTW. And harvest is any day!
