Bagseed Grow: T5 High Output Lights

This is just a cheap and inexpensive grow that I have set up in my attic. It consists of 3 plants (all bagseed) under two 48 inch 54watt T5 fluorescent lights, along with two cheaper 24 inch fluorescents beside them. Soil is a mixture of horse maneur, Fox Farms Soil, and some compost. The biggest plant, I have used the Low Stress Training method (LST) and tied it down. The other 2 were started a bit later and I am just going to let them grow straight up. I add Miracle Grow to them every other watering. Just switched lights over to 12/12 4 days ago. Here's some pics. The pic of the LST (from bottom of plant, is an older one from about 2 weeks ago, all others are from today.)

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated

Also, I will just be throwing up a few pictures of one of my outdoor plants as it progresses. Its about 2 weeks into flowering.

heres an update of my biggest outdoor about 4 1/2 foot tall now.

The best looking indoor plant turned out to be a male. One of the others might be a male but I used LST on both of them. Heres the LST pics and a couple from the outdoor plant.

They look great typically I wouldn't recommend miricle grow as its easy to over due it but it seems to be working for you sorry to hear about the males always sad my biggest ended up being male

Thanks and yea MG is really easy to overdue it with, I give in very low doses. Sorry to hear about your plant, I hate when you get males. Due to having to LST my other plants I have switched back to the 18/6 light schedule to let the new growth fill out quicker.

I didn't bother lst since this is my first grow but I'm thinking I should have one is about too tall about 6'5" hoping it doesn't get bigger when did you start your lst? Read a lot about it but like to hear peoples experiences as well

I love using LST. It makes plants a lot more bushier, and more importantly it spreads the light to all of your plant instead of the top few nodes. In my experience my LST'd plants yielded1.5x-2x more bud than the ones I let grow straight up. Not to mention all you need is closehangers and a string to do it.

Here is an update on the female I have inside. As you can see the LST really bushed this one up.

Nice grow dude. A little advice i can give you about using these H.O. t5's: when or if you flower with them you will get nice dense buds but they wont be nearly ass massive as with a HID. Youre on the right track by LSTing them but i've found that its almost impossible to get a decent yield from them unless you scrog to get as much of the plant close to the bulbs as possible. Thanks man. I've had a lot of people tell me that, and it is true that it doesn't yield as much as HID but you can get a decent harvest. I have different spectrum bulbs for flowering, so we will see how it goes.
