Bagseed 70w 1 x 2 Micro Closet Grow..First Time!!

Thanks to Gnome_grown I got some of this MYLAR to put up tomorrow, as well as some Fox Farm flowering nutes... Big Bloom I think its called.. Few more days and they will be getting 12/12 and hopefully showing me some female sex organs =]

In the first pic you can see the brown where I topped it and the 2 weak shoots turned into the 2 main ones...

In the 2nd pic..I woke up today to find wetness on some of the leaves...Im thinking this is due to humidity?? Anyone exhibit the same thing time to time?

The 3rd pic you can see how I tied the 2 lower branches down so they spread out more and dont crowd the canopy..

I tested the PH... I'm not sure if I did this correctly but I first checked the PH of my tap water..and it brought up 7.5-7.6 range.. kind of high.. then when I tried it with a little bit of soil from about an inch down in the pot mixed in with the water it reads closer to 7.0. Is this the right way to do this? or should I test the runoff water...

this reminds me of when i started now i have a 250watt HPS and MH but it looks like u know ur stuff and want to learn more and ur workinng with what u have and can afford . those plants are going to get to big for that light unless u flower 70 wats isint much but ull get a sucsessfull grow. ill bee watchin this check out my grow journel me and my partner in crime have learned alot since we started

DUM D DUM I WISH I COULD SMOKE....today is day 5 of no smoking...have to find a job soon...layoffs suck..but hey at least when and if these finish Ill have something to be happy about later..

just stick the ph meter right down in the soil if it has the meat thermometer like spike on it, if its a hydro meter then im not sure

Yes we had a freshwater PH test kit for aquariums lying around so I figured if i Mixed some soil with the water it'd have the same effect but I'm prob horribly wrong haha. Ill have to go find a tester like you mentioned soon. Thanks

Got my thermometer FINALLY..as well as the supplies for the do it yourself carbon filter involving the car filter, activated carbon and duct suggested by Maltesegrower. First I have to construct the proper vent to accommodate and then put the filter together. Then I need to get a fan adequate to push the air through the filter. Temps are running around 79-79.5 degrees F. right now, but in the dead of summer its going to go up higher which will be a problem..

u figure out what ur gunna use for a fan for the filter?!?

I rearranged the spot a little more to make it even less visible...So I put the filter and pipe where I was planning on having it just to check it out before I get my fan for it..but i was told that its better to have the filter inside the box with the duct coming out and the fan attached outside the grow spot..if thats more efficient like I was told, then I'm going to have to rearrange a few things to make some more room inside. Also right now the temp stays around 82-84..ugh.. Here are a few pics right now as it stands.. What do you think about the filter..inside or out..opinions wanted.

Very nice grow man! This is what I want out of mine. Do you have problems with odors or are you expecting any once the bud starts to appear? Is that why the carbon scrubber is necessary?

And to answer the guy above me.If u have a plant with any sort of bud,ur gunna have oder issues.Maybe not right away but at least in the finally 4-5 weeks.Or at least the plants i have come across.Mind u with growing on this scale it is much easier to keep under control.

Ahhhhhhhh yes finally some mean ventilation....I used my pc fan, and extended the wires about 5-6 feet and slapped it on the inside wall of the grow spot connected to an exhaust duct...I will attach the filter once smell starts to kick in..although I was told to put the filter inside and the fan on the outside, the filter wont fit inside the spot good enuff so this method is the best I can do to keep it stealthy still. Its pretty funny using the fan still attached to my motherboard but its so far away from the pc in the closet...My pc is always on so theres no worries there..and the side of the case is always off so heat inside the case isn't an issue either. Ill snap some pics of it tomorrow...
