Were those actions a result of that UN resolution that took all the land in PALISTINE, and gave it to the Jews and still is occurring everyday, absofuckinglutly. Muslims are sick and tired of being treated like 2nd class citizens in this world, where Western nations come to their lands, and tell them how to act in a way that is acceptable to them, and just as quickly torture and kill those that resist. No wonder they like killing westerners. Anyway, you want to take away one of the biggest problems affecting the WORLD right now, make Israel give back the land they never had a right to, land taken in 1967. Fuck the excuse that it was taken in war, as that is not an excuse anymore, not in the 21st century. Oh, just to make it clear, when the freedom fighters named Hamas or Hezbollah say they want Israel to be driven into the sea, that is because the Jews have no legal right to the land, beside the UN giving it away ( funny the Jews accept that resolution, but none after). The Israelites use that religious fairy tale, the Bible, written by Jews by the way, that says this land is their land. as promised by their imaginary god (99% of the planet think their god is bullshit). Muslims are accused of being the cause of the havoc in the world today, they are a part of it, but the main perpetrators, I don't think so. In the Middle East, just look at Israel or the consequences of the US saving their asses. That is the problem, or at least a major one contributing to religious violence in the world at large.

War is and always has been about resources and land. There are lots of excuses for it but it really comes down to that.

Resources? What resources could they want in that desert? They simply wanted Jerusalem for their god. That is the reason they gave at the time, which was to protect it from who? Muslims of course! I believe they still use the term Crusaders, even today. You know what, they are right. We are Crusaders, and we will probably end up like them, meaning dead. AL Qaeda is no longer a viable organization. Now it is just a branding label.
Israel is the little friend who gets us in bar fights, our best choice is tough love with Israel. Aint gonna happen.
We should cut them loose after all the problems they have caused us

the crusades were launched by a coalition of nations and religious groups to RETAKE territory which had been conquered by moslem invaders. places like SPAIN.

it was not, as is so often claimed, an aggressive assault on moslem lands by evil christians, any more than the allied liberation of france in WW2 was a brutal attack on the innocent germans who desired only some lebensraum.

Yes, I didn't make my self clear when I used that 99% statement. What I meant was that 99% didn't agree with the Jewish form of a god. Yes, there is a connection between the Muslims and Christians and Jew as far as Abraham goes, but that is about it as far as similarity goes . As a portion of the worlds religions goes, about half don't even know who Abraham was. That was my point, that Judaism is a tiny religion, with a core population of only around 13 million worldwide, with 6 million in the US and 6 million in Israel. There are billions of Muslims and Christians alone, forget the Hindus or Buddhists.
Nope, I'm not that bad as to blame the world's problems on the Jews. But they are THE root cause of strife that has erupted in that area, beginning the day after The State of Israel was shit out by the UN in 1948. That was also the day the US lost all creditability in the Muslim world, and there hasn't been peace there since. Blame the Jew? Absolutely.

only someone who has never read the koran could claim mohammed didnt insist that all the world must convert, become dhimmi or die.
contrast that to, for example, the mormons, who believe all the world must be OFFERED their religion, which they can decline or not, as they wish.
or the catholics, who, admittedly, in the past have demonstrated a zeal for forced conversions which barely edges out the moslems in their ferocity, but they grew out of it.

the primary difference between christians and moslems is that christianity (flawed and authoritarian though it may be) has achieved some progress in their acceptance of differing views on technology, society and philosophy, while islam is still slouching through it's own personal Dark Age, with no signs of an Enlightenment on the horizon.
