Bad probs, MG def. maybe?

So I got a bunch of fem'd Autos going in MG moisture control soil (i kno I kno lets not turn this into a MG bashing I have had plenty of good success before with it)

Looks to me like a Mag. def. I thought so I started watering with some Epsom salt and foliar spraying it as well. Just started so dont kno if its really helping yet lol. My 3 non autoflowers seem to be doing pretty fine so I guess the autos are just more sensitive to whatever it is.

Should I cut off all of the pretty much dead crispy leaves or just let them be?

that doesn't look like a mag def to me. I would recommend a flush. But wait for a second opinion.

i would flush just to help get control. but other then that im not entirly sure. Ever have this issue before?

Yeah, when in doubt, flush.

Shitty... You're knee deep in some really serious crap. What you have is a conglomeration of problems, which makes it very difficult to diagnose. Especially when figuring out the cause of the problem.

Tracing back I would assume it all started with a pH issue. Likely acidity. Then you might have toyed around with the nutrients, probably burning the plants, or inducing a toxicity. Finally, the plant consumed itself.

I know this because I have done this and I have seen this first hand.

You are right in assuming the fundamental problem was Magnesium related, but the cause was probably a pH imbalance.

These plants are pretty fucked man. I hate to be the bearer of bad news.

Next time around keep your pH in line and dose with a good magnesium supplement like Organicare Huvega or Humboldt Nutrients Sea Mag. Very few companies recognize the Magnesium requirements of blooming cannabis, and this is the number 1 deficiency I see around here. I consider Mg to be among the most important elements for healthy growth.

So what you do now is flush the plant, remove the dead plant mass, and keep everything balanced nutritionwise. Add a good 2 weeks to your projected harvest date to get anywhere near the weight you would have had.

Oh yeah I know the plants will suffer very bad from this. Its safe to say it was a PH problem that started the snowball effect. I never check it as I never have this problem using the same soil and my ol tap water. I believe it was due to the autoflowers being more sensitive as my non autoflowers are doing just fine really. Slight start of the MG def but I fixed it quickly, however efforts to fixing it in the others lead to nute burn also with the extra watering as MG soil nutes are water released.

I will just remove leaves mostly gone and keep at it and just take what I get from them and concentrate on the non autoflowers that are doing fine.

I've had serious pH issues with that miracle grow moisture control potting mix in the past.. which looked remarkably similar to the ladies in your pictures.

Damn snow crash. No faith. I've seen plants come back from worse.

Yes I have had plants come back from not having a single green leaf on them... they are rebounding some but the damage is done, my yeilds will be affected drastically but long as what I do get still comes out decent smoke Ill be happy. Going to let them go about another month before chopping then move my non autoflowers in their place and change the light schedule.
