Hey all,
My 250w hps ballast died 3wks into flower. After a short panic-stricken session, I ran out
and got 2 clamp-lamps with Big reflectors and 2 65w 2700k CFL's (best lamps they had). I'm planning on throwing
in another 65w 2700k cfl in a few days. This was a "quick fix" (plants are 3-4wks into flower) as I have no time or $$ to do anything else. What's worse, most of my plants are Speed Haze (ssh x j. herer) and stretched so much under the hps (ambient light!) that I've had to bend over the meristem more than once. They just keep reaching for the light. At least now, I can place the cfl lamps close to the tops. Here is the "after" shot, under cfl lamps.
