BackYard Buds...

Here are my ladies. Its been a journey up untill now, and it still aint over.
I have 5 different varieties here. All unknown. I started with 15 bag seed babies (4 different strains) and 2 crystal rain , 2 unknown freebee's from amsterdam. I ended up with 3 ladies from bag seed and 1 lady from the freebee batch and one clone from a buddy (which is also bag seed). I only keep good quality seed from the best of the herb that goes around here. Not much KB here.

This is my 2nd outdoor grow and Ive been dealing with bugs, worms, grasshoppers, and a lot of fly overs. I have most of the bugs under control now.

My main concern is two of my ladies are barely moving along and Im worried about temps getting low here soon. Any opinions on if they will finish? I know it will be close. They are the last 3 pics.

I am getting some leaves that are dying off quick on my lower branches of my Big lady. It seems a little ab-normal. I feed with FF nutes. I did have a lot of rain for almost 2 weeks. And I didnt feed them through that period. It very sandy here and everything washes out quick. So maybe she's lacking nitrogen. Im not sure, but Im getting her back on big bloom and see if it gets a little better.

Looks like they just went into flower, and I believe flowering is 8 weeks or so, so that's gonna be rough. Remember they can withstand some light frost, but I can't see the temps holding out for much longer than another month or so. Most people in the states will be chopping within the next month. Of course specific timing depends on where you are, which you didn't say. Someone recently posted a site where you can go and see the first frost dates based on your zip code - search and ye shall find.

Central USA. We get frost sometimes in Oct. Those ones may not make it. At least I still have 3. How many times do you think a plant can with stand a light freeze? Mine last year endured 1 freeze before I chopped them. They were changing colors!

yeah it looks like those just started flowering i have the same prob mine started flowering 3 weeks ago and its already getting down to mid 40s at night they can last 2 maybe 3 light frosts so i would just let them be if worse comes to worse just chop em early u can try to put some sort of clear tarp over them at night if u need too and that can help keep them out an extra week or so that can be all the difference anyways nice plants hope for the best and a late winter

those should be ready by halloween

Thanks guys. I hope so. Halloween is only 4 weeks away. Im thinkin around 2nd week of november.
