Been away for a while, now back with a vengeance and ready to get my garden growing again.

Last night I popped my new seeds into water.

2 x White Widow (feminised)
2 x Purple Haze (feminised)
2 x OG Kush (feminised

Let the games begin.

How's everyone going? So nice to see my old favs rock up for my second grow. Will be looking for mentoring along the way. It's going to be a blast as I'm going to be trying some interesting techniques....oh yes.

Thinking on a quantum level. Everything is energy, we're all connected, we're all one etc. Positive thinking, intention setting, visualisation.

I got $2 bucks on the Haze for the win.

Subbed, I got a OG Kush that I just started.. I also had a White Widow which unfortunately did not pop. So I got a OG and a Critical + in starter cups.

Well, the first to brake cover is the OG Kush...one of them has popped her little head thru. I had to double check which one she was as, if my eyes do not deceive me, she has a slight purple tinge to her. I have just got out of bed tho so it could truly be my eyes!

On a side note, I am quite excited about the OG Kush, as until recently I had never knowingly smoked it. However, the other week my delivery boy arrived and when I opened the front door the stink coming off him was incredible, not sure how he managed to walk down the street without being arrested. And the weed was in a baggie, in a plastic bag stuffed down his pants! Well, it was some of the best weed I have sampled in quite a long time. Roll on the next 4 months!

If your OG Kush is anything like the Lemon OG Kush that I recently harvested, you'll be a happy camper. I found the White Widow to be an energetic high and have been keeping the strain going since December.

Fingers crossed Lilroach. White Widow is an old friend, used to be the first thing I bought when arriving Amsterdam! Haven't been for years, but it's my birthday tomorrow so maybe I'll treat myself to lunch in the 'Dam...

Now, for my first grow I only used a T5 and a handful of CFLs...result 1.25oz off one plant. For this grow I'm upgrading to a proper light, and I'm think of this...

I know baby pics are boring, especially when it's someone else's baby, but my girls are a week old today.



The 2 WWs are a bit tall and stretchy but I'll bury them a little when I next re-pot them.

The ballast is great, same one I use never had a problem with it (only had it for a year so not very long). One thing I did have a problem with is my timer, apparently digital ballasts have a really heavy start up load and I blew my timer last week. So watch for that.

I would personally go with an aircooled hood. I got a cheap wing one to start and used it for about 2 weeks before I realized how much better a proper hood is. They are way more expensive but work a lot better. That way if you have heat issues you can easily hook up some ducting and it's solved.

The babies look great. I'm subbed. I got two white widows going right now. One from Vision and one from Dinafem both feminized, both just cracked dirt. Be nice to see how yours turn out.
