a freind of mine knows were to get all the differnt roots and what ever else is used. i'll try to get the sites he uses and his recipe. different tribes from differnt areas around there make it differently because of the species of plants located in each area varies.

They did it in Weeds. I wouldn't do it.


From what I remember it makes you puke all your stomach contents out, which is one of the "purging" qualities to the substance. One of the reasons I wouldn't do it lol.

I would seriously suggest you check if you can find a santo daime chapter in your area.
Proper aya needs to be taken with guidance, before during and after. I'm sorry to say that harmala and DMT is not aya... The THH added by the traditional plants give it a whole new aspect, and adds to the health risks.

the only place to truly experience it the way its meant to be done WITH a shaman, guiding you before and after is in south america and near peru. i had a shaman walk me around the forest finding all the herbs, explaining them to me via translator. it was a very very life changing experience. very spiritual. Mother ayuasca will always be with me in all decisions i make to see me thru to the best possible decision.

and the purging is very important. i puked for about 3-4 hours. then was empty, THEN it hit me. had 3 shamans chanting around me, every new chant brought on another spirit. Each one having a different personality. Some friendly and comforting, and some honestly, scared the shit outta me. but the shamans were in complete control, when they saw how each effected me they altered the chant to subdue, or expand the energy of each spirit. Done right, it can almost make you a little schizophrenic. When life decisions are on my mind, there is a convorsation between the spirits that stuck with me, and my mind. kind of like the angel/devil on the shoulders... but its more like 4-5 of them. if you have a chance to do this properly, and have a very strong, stable mind, Do it. if you think you may lose control, dont.

Over all, the trip was about 2000$. the peruvian shamans dont do this for free. and if they dont think you can handle it, they wont let you do it.
please dont make this at home. and please dont do this alone. If i would of done it alone, i would be in a loony bin. Seriously....

See that shaman sitting next to the tripper ... well he is kinda an anchor ... who will pull you back to the reality you know ... if you are not made for this.
Also do some readings to understand the diff bwn ayahuasca and dmt.
This is not a party drug ... this stuff will kill your ego ... everything you are not ... and once you come back to earth .... you might not like who you are. And that is the dangerous part.

Just some food for thought.
As said above for ayahuasca ... take a trip to Peru.
You could also get your hands on some DMT and smoke it.
