AWESOME SITE! Newbie with some questions???

Ive been reading a lot of the differnet threads here and you guys are a smart bunch of stoners. Ive done a lot of info gathering as well as shopping thanks to the advice ive read here.

ive smoked for about 16 years and smoked 3x daily thru highschool and college, i was a pothead! however, i havent smoked much in the last 2 years, for different reasons. ok to the point...my fiance has severe depression and chronic migraines, ive never experienced any of these symptoms myself but i know smoking will def. help bc her meds arent working.

so i want to grow 1-4 plants for personal (medicinal) use. i am setting up 2 grow rooms, 1 for veg and 1 for flowering. i have a large flo light and smaller flo light specifically for aquariums and plants. the bud room has (1) 100watt hps light that i bought at home depot. my question is??? will that lighting work for my purposes or am i really underlighted? second question...i bought female norhtern light seeds from dope-seeds.com...are they a good company? and are those seeds worth it for $31.00/4 seeds? and finally...i plan to buy fertilizer from Progressive growth.com ...Bud Blood, Big Bud, Bloom Booster, and Advanced Nutrients" Micro-Grow-Bloom"...are these enough ferts or will i need more or should i get something else...

Your ferts sound okay, the 100w hps can do o.k... but you can do better with a 400w.. i dont know about the aqarium lights. you could probobly get by on the 100w if you really wanted to.. but i'd return it and buy the budget 400w hps at High Tech Garden Supply

the 100w hps at home depot i believe is not for horticulture either.. so i dont know how it would do

You want as much light as possible. The more light the better the yield.

I agree, for the set-up you describe, much more "bang for the buck" going with 400W....

not sure if im doing this right...just wanted to thank you - hi tech garden supply has a much cheaper light than progressive growth! i'll prolly get my other supplies from there as well...mahalo (thanks)!!!
