Hello people!

So I know this is a very often asked and hard to answer question because of all the variables but I will try to provide all the information to my best.

So the question is can I get 4oz per plant? My setup is described below in 2 different scenarios the only difference between the 2 being the growing medium. I am actually looking at it in terms of 4oz per month so considering the time needed for the plants to finish from seed to harvest I hope for at least 4oz/plant growing 4 plants per harvest.

SCENARIO #1
Strain: Mazar feminized from Dutch Passion https://www.dutch-passion.com/en/cannabis-seeds/product/mazar/

Set-up: 600W HPS, 80x80x180 cm tent (2.6 x 2.6 x 5.9 feet), two 4 inch fans for air intake, one 8 inch fan for air exhaust, one fan in the tent making some air circulation.

Medium: soil with aprox 10 liters (2.6 gallons) pots.

Vegetative time: 4 weeks


SCENARIO #2
Strain: Mazar feminized from Dutch Passion https://www.dutch-passion.com/en/cannabis-seeds/product/mazar/

Set-up: 600W HPS, 80x80x180 cm tent (2.6 x 2.6 x 5.9 feet), two 4 inch fans for air intake, one 8 inch fan for air exhaust, one fan in the tent making some air circulation.

Medium: Coco Coir with aprox 10 liters (2.6 gallons) pots.

Vegetative time: 4 weeks

Also I am not very experienced at the moment I am halfway through my first grow 4 autoflowerings 3 Kalashnikova and 1 Big Bang all from green house seeds. They don't look like they're going to meet my yield expectations so that is the reason why I want to switch to photoperiods.

Seed to sprout 4 days. Veg for 4 weeks. Flower for 9 weeks....The plants should be in the area of 20-30" tall at finish. An ounce a plant. 28 grams wet ~

600watts...8 plants at that 25" tall figure.

My guess. 8 ounces every 4 months. Before being dried.

Too many factors to say yeild. But yeah its possible. Strains vary yeild a lot, i've grown 11 oz total from 2 plants and 20oz from one plant in an identical setup and veg time(flower time was way longer on the 20oz tho). Also have done 13 oz on one plant with less veg time than above and 15 oz from two plants with similiar veg to the 13oz. I have a similiar size tent and 600w light as well but i run dwc and a scrog net.

I agree with factoring a 5-6 week veg and at least 1 top for much better results.

Just keep growing and learning, you'll get to the point of understanding what you can yeild.

My most recent harvest all my plants had four tops ranging from 24 to 28 grams and that's just the colas so it's possible but grower skill plays a big part in what you get.

that's an awfully small area for a 600 watt.... just saying. anon said it right though depending on strain and skill. I would say 4-8 oz. coco would give you an advantage but is more labor intensive and requires a bit more skill in being able to identify deficiencies.

Guys this is finally it with my first grow. bad phone quality I know but still :D the baldie plant in the right low corner has been chopped yesterday (tuesday) and the other ones have about one or 2 weeks left to go cause i germinated them 2 weeks later than the one that's done. so now it's drying and getting ready for curing. A MASSIVE THANKS for all of you who helped me with information :D I did make mistakes (obviously), I learned from them and I am quite sure that on the next grow I will perform better. as for the plants I'm quite happy with the results so far (although I will truly be able to say that after I've weighted them :))) ) and am willing to give autoflowers another chance. the one that's been chopped (baldie one) was Big Bang auto from greenhouse seeds, the ones that ain't done yet Kalashnikova auto also from GHS. all of them grew about 43cm (17inch) tall. will probably come up with some more pictures as they get dried and cured so stay tuned ;)

yes this can be done here but you shouldnt count on it this time around
one month veg time isnt very long for a four ounce plant.
