depends on style of grow, genetics used, amount of plants, experience...need more info..

yep 10oz would be your usual 0.5 gpw that the average grower would get. however, with proper genetics, hydroponic setup, and training (scrog/vertical), if you don't make critical mistakes, you can get as far as double than that. the big shots on this site report up to 2.5 gpw (~4 pounds for such a light)

number of plants however, has *very little* to do with yield.

you're looking at about 10 oz for a start
That's what I'm getting with a 4ft. track, but I don't have any high yielding strains either. My friend has the 6ft. track and he's still learning but he ran 2 Purple Kush and 3 Pineapple Express about 3ft. high and got close to 12oz. total. So it's the grower's skill and the strain that really boost that yield.

well well loads of people relpying thats what i like to see ya strain is a hard one because it was bred around here but it is a great big cola strain going to run a SOG single cola but dunno what size pots i should go. i want to clone then veg for two weeks maybe less to get a nice root system going then flower thinking min of 2 gal pots maybe even just running 1 gal pots? looking to plan ahead before i get the mover main reason is i need to save power i have 2 600w but do not want to run both anymore as my bill makes me paranoid as it is high i was running a 400w veg room with 2 600w flower room, but i have big screens and such as well and i run a lot of juice on the regular anyways. also been doing this for about three years now so thats my experience and i plan to use a foot print of 3' wide as that is about as far as a 600w will throw a number ten on my lcheap light meter ten being strongest 1 being weakest. also probally trying to pack like 3 to 4 plants per square foot almost forgot im using promix which is a soiless medium

whats the point in the light mover??? they are shit. the main thing to affect the yield is the amount of light... moving it about doesn't create any extra light.

A light mover just exposes the plant to more of the light, normally blocked by whatever or normally receives less light because of positioning. Not more light, just more exposurer = more yield.

You need to experiment a bit my friend, as you are wrong.

This is the correct answer. + Sir.

wow that one dude does not know what he is talking about haha why would people buy a mover if it didn't help efficiency lol well i still do not know what pot size to go as people are arguing about the light mover not producing more weight. so any help would be helpful as of right now i am going to go with 2 gal pots but think i should go with one gal i rather just be safe then sorry with a bigger pot but if someone the wiser knows better plz advise thanks to all of you!

I'm going to try two 600s on a mover...I am use to using 1000s so this will be my first 600...got a wierd room 2'w x8'h x 8'l closet...

So I am thinking I need two to get the whole space. I know Hobbes is using just one, but still trying to comprehend those numbers...will try to reproduce!

I am going with bigger pots...10 gal smart pots...will do some crop circle of bud like Hobbes and some topped repeatedly and super cropped to see which produced best. Going to put two plants in each 10 gal smart pot and go with Super Soil (Sub cool's recipe)...so that is what I'm thinking!

I'd really like to see how this goes in the larger pots. Will you bedoing a grow thread? Have you considered using a light mover for your long narrow sapce? Good luck with your grow.
