AV Bud Candy Question

I'm using General Hydroponics nutrients. I use their three part system, floralicious plus, Kool Bloom, and Botanicare cares Cal-mag and Sweet.

I just bought Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy today. I heard some Rave reviews about it from my hydro shop. My question is which one would I be replacing for Bud Candy?

I don't plan on replacing the nutrients. Just use less of the other and more of Bud Candy. Anybody know? Has anyone used it here? Whatcha think about it?

i never used it but the guy at my hydro store also raved about it from what he told me is that its not really a veg or flower nute but he described it as "icing on the cake"

Lol! It says on the bottle to use it only during the first six weeks in Bloom. I'm curious if I should take out Floralicious plus. I don't know what it is... Is it just a carb additive?

Yeah, I checked it. It's 0-0-1. Is that what you're asking? Lol. It looks pretty good. It has all kinds of Amino Acids and vitamins and shit. I really have no idea what it is. Lol. My plans were to cut Floralicious plus by half and sweet by a quarter and use Bud candy to compensate for that. I'm afraid it might be potent shit and I'll end up burning the fuck outta my plants...

To echo others, i think the Bud Candy replaces other items in the rotation. seems like it's pretty sweet stuff (no pun intended), so you don't really need to add anything else but that during the bloom period.

Just keep in mind that this is going to change the flavor of your bud, so if that's not something you want, you might want to to cut back on the amount.

that way, you can still get the big buds without changing the taste of an already tasty strain...

Gotta love AN though for coming up with something like this. I haven't used it much, but some friends of mine really do think it's an essential part of the schedules

Yup Oaksterdam - well put.

Bud Candy just seems to add that extra ooomph some grows need. Personally, I use it fairly often, but not every grow since I like to check to make sure it's still giving me the best results.

Sort of gives me something to compare it to. And each time I don't use the Bud Candy, I regret that decision.

I have been using .5ml per liter every 3 waterings. In very organic soil. Kind of afraid to burn them. Is everyone with soil using it every watering or just with nute feeding?

I use 5ml = 1 tbs, per gallon, every third watering and it works great! Im at just over four weeks in flowering and can smell the sweet, fruity smell from the trichromes already!
