question.....

i have a pair of Purple Kush Auto flower from I49 seed bank. The plants have done great, they were planted from seeds September 1 and today they are "tall" and i see the pistols, but i don't know if these are going into flower or not...is there a trick or how do i know these are actually auto flower plants? the other (10) plants i have just went into flower last night...The Purple Kush plants are about 6" taller than all the rest, California orange, white widow and girl scout...but there is no difference in them leaning towards flowering...so am i doing something wrong, or what is the trick to make sure they flower...? Thanks

Wow it’s going on 8 weeks and there is really no bud development. I did 12 hours darkness and I am on 20-4 light schedule. Just sit back and wait? These plants are 36+ inches tall in 3 gallon pots. Expected to be done by 8-9 weeks. It not even close to budding. Just barely preflowering. Any suggestions?

Yeah Brett..
I agree, plant will definitely begin to flower if you change the light cycle..
It would just be nice to know if he bought the seeds from a reputable dealer...or if in fact, he got some new autoflower with an ultra long veg cycle.(which I doubt). That would be useful for us up here in Canada, as you could plant them early indoor and finish up with a monster outside well before the snow flies.

I49 seed bank is where i got the seeds, i have had success with them in the past...but then again, how do you know...right...i am sure these are ready to go, i am going to go 12-12 for a week and see what happens. i have 8 photo type plants all the same age and i have them on 12 12 in a different grow room and they are starting to flower. i have 5 that have showed up as males, so much for my luck there! nice plants too.....damn nice, just not female...so i will try the 12-12 can i change them to 18-6 or should i leave them 12 -12?

Stretch..
If you really like one or two of the males...why not make lemonade iut of the situation and save some pollen...Buy some empty gelatin caps at the local organic store..mix up pollen with flour as a desiccant..at least 10:1 flour to pollen..then throw the gel caps in ziplock bags or a plastic container with screw cap as a
Secondary backup for humidity

Cheers

Never heard of such a thing. I’ll have to look that one up. I turned the lights out on the 5 males tonight. Will cut them up another day.
