In my cabinets, I can't get an auto to pull more than about 2 ounces. Waste of space for me when I can get 3 times that from a photo. Are autos good outdoors? Or should I put them close to each other and burn through my auto seeds indoors?
Autos never really impressed me. Especially not when run right beside a photo.

Something is wrong then. We are having a discussion about it in another thread and got pics of a 26 oz indoor auto.

Do you start them in their final pot? Plant it straight into a five gallon container. Pop the seed in it. They can get big.

They get bigger outdoors.

Yep, directly into the 5 gallon bucket. Same lights, water, everything else is the same. In my estimation, that 26 ounce plant was a freak of nature, not the rule.

Just weighed today. My last auto yielded 21.2 grams dry. My last photo yielded 184.4 grams dry. This has been the trend for me. Maybe it's because I mainline my photos out to 16 tops and let the photos do their own thing? Autos have been a consistent disappointment.

How long to get that 21 vs 184?

If you could get enough seeds then do a sea of green with the autos. Put more pots in your grow.

The photo was a 6 week veg. Flowering for 9 weeks starting right after the last pinch, so 15 weeks for the photo.
A random auto from the Budha seeds mix took just under 11 weeks to finish. It took up a little over a square foot in my estimation.
I've been contemplating doing a sea of green with the autos, just to get rid of them. But, if they work better outside I can do a few guerilla style to get rid of them.

Buddha. I grew their auto variety pack. Ten seeds. Four are their dwarf variety. The rest are bigger autos. Try their magnum, quasar and ones like that. You will get a bigger yield.

You're right, maybe I just had a small auto on this last run. I have a fast and vast going now too that's about 3 weeks in. We'll see how it goes.

Hey kevin i got 1 stunted c4 matic by fast buds thats just now going into flowering and only about a ft tall. Im gonna pop a cash crop by cream of the crop at the start of may. And a jackpot by heavy weight at the start of june. The jackpot will get more light hours so it should yeild more. But my gorrilla spot is in a clearing that is midway through becoming pine forrest. So its literally about a 500 sq ft feild of pine trees ranging from 1ft to 5ft.
Dude used to have cattle out there but the land has been sold for 10yrs. And the guys not doing anything with it. Its probably over 750acres and my feild is deep in it. With overgrown fence all around it.
Perfect spot for me

But im also running three autos under a 600w. Indoors

I've got a 2fast 2vast auto going in a 10 gallon smart pot outdoors. Started it on the 16th of April. I've never grown an auto but this was a freebie.

Depends, you going for yield ditch autos. Get about 2 oz from an auto. Most I ever got was 5.5 oz and 100day auto.
Get photos well worth it.
I dont fuck with autos anymore nor will I ever again unless its a freebie.
