I'm growing a variety of autoflowers under 1,000-watt HPS. It's a basement grow, about 6x6, surrounded by mylar.

There are 20 plants. They are Onyx, Great White Shark, Easy Rider, Blueberry, Low Rider #2.

The Great White Sharks are about five weeks old. The others are 9 days old.

Grown with a 18/6 light cycle.

I'm growing in soil (mix of Pro-Mix, Fox Farm, perlite and worm castings).

Feel free to comment.

Looks nice and promising .

Just Great white shark is not auto flowering, and if you are growing auto flower and photo periodic at the same time ,then you need the second room sooner or later unless your autoflowers bloom in veg cycle of photo periodics

Yea, Lowlife has an autoflowering Great White Shark. It's surprisingly open to nutrients for being an autoflower. It already flowered under 18/6 light cycle.

My bad on the Diesel. The other one is blueberry from Lowlife. It's an autoflower. Guess I smoked a bit too much before posting.

I had an outdoor/Indoor experience with Lowryder#2 and DIESEL RYDER all regular and now I am runing some small potted diesel ryder(about 20 females) from my F2 seeds which are notting compare to original DR I bought from joint doctor. The seeds are Huge but the yield is poor especially under 12/12 that I am runing .THEY ALL SHOWED THEIR SEX IN LESS THAN THREE WEEKS FROM SEEDS UNDER 18/6.

I would advise against growing autos under 12/12. The yield is significantly reduced. I tried it while I was flowering some regular plants and the autos yielded a quarter each. They should be under 18/6 or 20/4 to show their full potential.

Nice setup i'm growing a load of auto's myself. Got onyx, ak47, ak48, big buddha auto's and some smurfberry. I grow hydroponically so will be interesting to see any differences. I am doing a journal too so have a look

Nice. I am doing the smurfberries next cycle. I'll be checking out your journal.

Sorry for the delay. The Great White Sharks are starting to explode, but the younger ladies are looking much nicer and more stout. I tried to press the button with the nutes to see how much the Sharks could handle. They did not like even a quarter strength of Tiger Bloom.

I'm going to stick with Big Bloom and molasses for this grow, and maybe a little Open Sesame and Beastie Bloomz.

The photos below are of a flowering Shark (about 6 weeks old) and an Easy Rider (a little over 4 weeks).

lookin forward to it. auto's really seem to love the idea of 1000w .

you never really seem them come to full fruition under high voltage HID lighting. Generally anyone growing auto's is a little kid trying to grow them in a PC case. I did a few deiselryders a while back under my 1000w (600hps 400mh) but they didn't autoflower under 18/6. moved them to 12/12 and got 2 zips off each. i'm doing 15 easyryders this round in a tent with 1000w hps and 400mh. should be interesting. your running 18/6 still too right?

Yep, I'm running 18/6. I would never go 12/12 because it significantly reduces yield. I experimented with it last year while I was flowering regular strains, and the yield was terrible.

It was a crazy weekend. I first spotted webs around four of my Sharks. Upon further inspection, spider mites have invaded. I bought a spray and Aza Max. I sprayed the leaves and used Aza Maz on the soil to kill the eggs. I hope I spotted the problem early enough.

Here is a shot of my full room. My younger plants are doing really well.

its really too bad to hear about the mites. those pesky buggers don't go out easy.

if you can. next time you get a pic you should do it without the hps on so we can get an idea of what the room really looks like.

I am very impressed with the growth in your plants though. looks like they really love the 1000w.
