I was wondering , I have a autoflowering seed says to finish in 8weeks

I understand for vegging is 6500k (daylight)

And for flowering is 2700k ( Soft white)

Which bulbs should I use for autoflowering since it finishes in 8 weeks

Just use the 2700k or mix them up?

When I was growing autos I used MH for the first 3 weeks or so then switched to HPS. So I guess start with the daylight bulb and when you start seeing signs of budding (usually around 3 weeks) switch. I hope this helps.

Depending what your using for auto's (which is what im doing) get some huge beasty dual spectrum bulbs

As said shift to red spectrum when you see the first signs of flowers. And don't be surprised if it takes more than 8 weeks. That is a very optimum estimates. I usually figure 10 weeks.

Ideally yes you would want blue then shift to red when goes into flower but if dont want to buy 2 lots of bulds look for a 300w dual spectrum CFL bulb. will have 6400k and 2700k. Just another route to go down...

When they start popping hairs change your light to 2,700K.

Easiest and fool-proof method to determine when.
