Autoflowering Dwarf Plants

Ok im new to this and i have loads of questions about Autoflowering Dwarf plants. Basicaly if i was going to grow i would want it to be a small plant which is why im interested in dwarf plants. What are the benefits of Autoflowering dwarf strains? I know they are small and autoflower on a 20/4 light cycle and seed - harvest in roughly 10 weeks depending on the strain, but could i not just grow a normal strain to a small size and then start to flower it on a 12/12 light cycle? I asume it would take alot longer than an autoflowering strain but is it possible? Iv read that some dwarf seeds can grow up to 70cm max but iv also read some normal seeds you can grow 70cm min indoors.Would i yeild more growing a small non autoflowering plant or an autoflowering dwarf plant? Hope i dont sound like a complete newbe

I would say that the benefits of swarf autoflowering are self explanatory.

You save space and don't have to wait as long for some bud.

Normal seeds can be trained not to grow tall through LST but they will only flower when they are ready to.

A normal seeds has to mature before it will flower. Now that is not to say you can't induce flower in a young normal seeded plant, Just that if you do it too early you would still have to wait
