Autoflower vs regular clones

So I'm used to having sour diesel and blackberry. They always take so long and I've been reading up on autoflowering plants. I'm thinking my next crop will be autos. Does anyone have a suggestion as to pros and cons? Or a good website for seeds and do all the seeds usually make it or a few die? I was thinking auto northern lights or royal dwarf. It will be a soil grow with 2 600watt hps lights. I may do a drip system but not sure.

Use the tried and true strains imo NL, ryder anything joint doctor or Greenhouse have had the best results from my group of heads. They find the ones that are highest thc most are cbd ok. Royal queen has some great ones but yield and potency almost always suffer. Start in what your going to finish in either 3 gal or 5 if you have space otherwise yield hurts. Haven't had much success with them so far. I have one thats 40 days into flowering and no bueno IMO. Just because its a top seller doesn't mean its a good strain..

Im going back to short veg grows with a mother to clone. 8 one ounce tops is better then an oz of 12 percent medium grade headies. I am doing Tangerine dream run and v kush is starting in a week. Saving the THC bomb for outdoor next season...im afraid to run it keep getting mixed opinions.

I've heard that the low ryders are a very quick strain. I need to get some quick crops going to pay rent until I can get back on my feet. Do you know any quickish strains like say a 8 week flower period that has ok to decent yields? I believe mine are in 2 gallon pots right now and I'm gonna use 5 gallon buckets next crop. You mean you have an auto going and it's not doing so well?thats true, I vegged this last crop for too long and I think that's part of why this grow has taken as long as it has.
