autoflower on 20/4, to late for 24/0 hours light ? +rep for help

my friend has a few auto ak47's which have been on 20/4 from seed for 2 weeks now

his timer has broke and he isnt allways home to manually switch them to 20/4

do you think its to late to go 24 hours / 0 darkness? i no some people use this for autos but obviously he doesnt want to get hermi plants from light sced change

but then again these are autos so what do you think? anyone done this before?

i never grew autos myself but i read you can grow them on full 24. they dont bud by light cycle change but instead over how much time has lapsed. i think the reason why people do 20/4 for autos is because compared to autos with a full 24 light cycle, the extra 4 hours of light hardly makes a difference, so better off saving on the power bill. i cant say for sure but if this light change does cause any stress, i don't think it will be significant enough to turn them hermi.

thanks, yeah i didnt think so either with autos but best to get a few more opinions

whats your favourite so far?

i could only find the blue mystic autos from nirvana, and ive read alot of bad things about nirvana seeds :(

Thanks for the rep man. They're all excellent. Blueberry has the best taste and the ak yields the best but they will all fook you up nicely. Good luck!

thanks for the rep. dont blame you there, i say always best to get multiple opinions no matter what.

on a side note though, hermis are good if you want some feminized seeds. and any seeds seem to be expensive so nice to get them for free. good luck on the grow!
