hi there i am doing fast bud at the mo, mine are 3 weeks old looking real good, mine are under a 400w hps lamp will post a pic later good luck with ya grow.
Nice, I couldn't sleep, thanks for visiting my thread. I would really like to see your plants to see what is expected in the next 2+ weeks. I am considering throwing mine in my GrowLab when the lights are on till about 12am everyday just to give them some stonger light everyday & save some power at the same time. Do you have a thread open for you FB's, would love to subscribe to it.

Whats your opinion on trying autos on 12/12?
As I said earlier, if you are going to try an auto flower on 12/12 schedule I would personally plant some regular plants & only try 1 autoflower to test it. You may not get the weight you are expecting from them, I am new to autoflowers so maybe I'm not the one to ask?

So I just got finished checking on my auto babies & found a surprise waiting for me hanging on my BD1, my tallest big devil. I had a damn wasp on my plant, no idea how he got inside, I'm thinking he may have crawled threw my unused intake window panel box. I'm going to fix that little problem in just a little bit with some guerilla tape & cardboard. Funny thing is the wasp was more worried about my plants then me trying to kill him, do they eat weed or something? How do you kill a wasp that's hanging on to you plant without wasp spray, THIS IS HOW! I picked this thing up for only 10$, I zapped him with this thing till he started smoking, burning wasp stinks.

I left the lights on overnight with the doors closed to check the temps & humidity. I got a reading of min of 79.3 degrees with humidity of 41% & an max reading 83.7 degrees with humidity of 51%. As you can see in the picture these reading are taken from the top of the cups/plants near the 2 CFL's, I honestly thought they would get more hot then that considering they have been on the past 5 days or so. Also no one has answered my question on leaving paint can / paint supplies in closet, I know that freshly painted walls can be toxic to plants. I may just take them out anyway if I can find somewhere else to store my paint, would hate to kill my babies. I may put all 6 of my autos into my grow tent today to start giving them some 600w HPS light, how far do you guys think I should place them under my reflector? Keep in mind they are still baby seedlings, I don't want to burn them with the heat, I get temps around 80 inside my GrowLab.

DAY 5: They are growing slow but surely..

I'll edit this post in a few minutes, I'm posting on iPhone at the moment and can't post pictures from it. Till next time, keep checking back for updates!

I'm glad to see a Big Devil Automatic grow journal on RIU!
I ordered a 3 pack of Feminized Big Devil (in the O.G. breeders pack) Friday night and received a shipment confirmation email Saturday morning. I search the internet over for a Big Devil grow journal and yours was the only one that I could find. I actually went a little overboard on the seed buying I ordered 10 different AF strains, though some are only single FEM seeds. I also ordered 10 Himalayan Blue Diesel REG so I can keep the seeds around and do some experimentation with the Auto HBD pollen.

Paint cans and anything else that can emit fumes are a bad idea in your grow room. While I can't say for sure exactly what happens when plants breathe specific fumes, I know for sure they don't like them. Also if by cans you mean spray cans, that's a pretty dangerous scenario leaving them in a place where if something fails the heat can rise exponentially. You want your babies breathing easily. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the tip, I was pretty sure it wasn't a good thing. I took everything out of there, I was talking about actual paint cans, not spray paint.

I took more readings of the temps with the doors open, I can only open the doors after 6pm because I have a grow tent in same room with screened vents at the bottom. I don't want light shining into the tent on there dark time, they are in flower mode & don't want herms. I'm reading a min of 77.3 degrees & a max reading of 80.7 degrees with the doors open. Also I decided to name all of my autos, I named the after those crazy bitches on Bad Girls & Jersey Shore tv shows.

Big Devil #1 = Kate
Big Devil #2 = Natalie
Big Devil #3 = Flo
Fast Bud #1 = Sammi
Fast Bud #2 = J-Woww
Fast Bud #3 = Snooki

Over 420 views, thanks for tuning in, time to smoke a bowl! P'z..

Just wanted to say hi. Your plants are doing great, I thought I might answer a few of your questions. About the 12/12 light schedule, it is most beneficial to have your lights set at 20/4. Your plants will grow fine, but you might not get the full yeild as you would if you used 20/4 lighting. The more time you have your lights on the taller your plants will get and vice a versa. I have always used 24/0 lighting for my plants and they were all Lowryders by The Joint Doctor, at harvest they were aproximately 12''.

I'm sure that these strains will do better outdoors with the right light conditions, but it seems you are very organized and take care of your plants well. Different growers produce varying plants. You could yeild more from your plants than someone who didn't treat their plants as well as you do yours.

One question, are you a woman. If you aren't you have nice handwriting.

Also you never know about flying critters. I have gone fishing and seen a bee eating a nightcrawler.

Thanks for boosting my confidence, I'm sure these little biatches will do just fine. Your right about me takig care of my plants, they are daddy's girls. I spend alot of my off time caring for them, I've spent plenty of money on my setup. I'm doing everything organic as of right now, I'm interested in hydropnica but pH levels scare me a bit. I may consider later on once I'm a bit more advanced. As for me being a women, the answer is no, my gf wrote that. About that dumb wasp trying to get loaded of my supply, this is first insect I have ever seen in any of my grows. Thanks for stopping by cloud9, hope to hear from you again.

I will be keeping an eye on your grow, nice to see your doing the same strains indoor as I am doing outdoors, my grow, for anyone else, because I know you have already seen it, is under the outdoor section. Its interesting that they are both about the same age, should be nice. Mine probably dont get as many light hours as yours do, but they are certainly getting the best light possible (the sun) when they are getting light. Probably around 12-13 hours a day of sunlight, then I try to put them under a cfl for a few hours at the end of the day, just to extend the length of the day for them. Im hoping for the best for the both us us, take care and good growing.

Your baby fast buds are looking nice man, Keep up the good work! Have you started using any nutes yet, if so what kind & how much do you use per gallon? I've heard that half of what is recommended is good for autoflowers, I also heard to stay away from Tiger Bloom. Also what type of light cycle do you have running & what wattage? Are they showing signs of sex yet, can't wait till mine hit 3 weeks old.

So I decided to start saving a little power by placing my seedlings into the tent as mentioned in a earlier post, they will go in roughly around 6pm & I'll take them out and place back into closet every night around 12pm. I took a few pictures just a moment ago to show the distance between the light from seedlings, does this appear to be close enough to them? Its roughly around 2 feet away from my 600w HPS, temps up top by the light get to around 82 degrees. I also have a couple shots of my other project im doing in my tent, these are Nirvana seeds. (1) White Widow & (3) Bubblelicious, the bubble is already starting to form hairs after 14 days into flowering. Believe it or not these nirvana plants are a little over 4 months old, I have a ventilation problem & was forced to veg them for 4 months until the problem was fixed. I'm hoping for my autos to finish before these do, I have a total of 10 plants atm.

pic 1: Autos sitting on rack about to be moved into tent, FB1 - 3 in front, BD1 - 3 in back.

pic 2: Picture of my tent setup with autos inside.

pic 3: This is the picture I took to show everyone how far the autos are from the light, is this a good distance?

pic 4: Her name is Skyler, My Nirvana WW, I killed her 2 brothers in month 2 of the grow. She hasn't really formed hairs just yet but they are starting to show signs up top.

pic 5: Her name is Madonna, My Nirvana BUB #1, she is my best plant atm in my opinion, looks like she is going to have a fat cola.

pic 6: Her name is Brittney, My Nirvana BUB #2, she is the shittest of my bubbles. Looks like it might be a popcorn plant. Lots of hairs forming all over her though, I can't complain.

pic 7: Her name is Gaga,My Nirvana BUB #3, she is doing pretty good. Lots of hairs are forming all over her. I bought a regular pack from nirvana, so far out of 3 seeds all bubbles were fem.
