Autoflower Cage Match: Round Two!

Welcome back all you Autoflower warriors! The Cage is ready for round two!

Want to enter the Cage? Just follow the infamous 3 rules!

The 3 rules:

1. Indoor grows only.
2. One plant per person.
3. Runderalis strains only (any strain mix accepted that is an autoflower strain)

Have your contestant planted in your medium of choice from March 31st to no later than --- April 8th --- and you will be added to the contender list!

It's truly is that simple!

Don’t over think the rules! If you abide by the 3 very simple rules above…you are eligible!
What do you win?

1. Recognition from a wide audience and other contestants!
2. Grow with friends new and old while staying motivated with your own grow!
3. Witness firsthand what works and doesn’t work with Autoflowers!

In all seriousness, I cannot give out any physical prizes because of security issues.

Disclaimer: This community activity is for lovers of Autoflowers so they can increase their knowledge of not only growing, but growing Autoflowers. If you do not like Autoflowers and do not wish to participate, simply do not participate.

Hey Frenchy1000! Would it be inconvenient to plant a separate girl for Round 2?

If it would be inconvenient, sure your lady can join in! Nothing wrong with some photos and info on early starters!

Hey Kulong, I will buy a auto seed today and hopefully it will pop before the 8th. This seems fun, I'll put her in the mother tent under the 550W LED panel so as not to disrupt the flowering tents. What are we looking for in a winner??

Hey newworldicon! Ya, your seed does not need to "pop" by the 8th hehe, you just need to plant the seed in your medium by the 8th!

I would love to see the results with your LED's.

Okay just bought an auto mazar from pick and mix. Good to hear I don't need to get her popped by the 8th but will germinate her as soon as I get her anyway, it's nice to submit pics whilst everyone else is.

Yep you actually just made me realise that she will have a fantastic light to grow under, I take the LED for granted as it's used right now as a mother veg light for 5 moms currently. I haven't even used the flowering spectrum yet LOL. We will see!!

I'll update when I get the seed germinated but to start with I will put her in a 1lt air pot with coco as medium and will only feed her with a worm shit based liquid feed from a local nursery close to me.

She will be directly under a 550W LED from hydroponic hut surrounded by her Aunties Medi, SB, Church, Space and PC.

sadly it would be a bit inconvenient as it has to be a stealth grow, and i dont have enough room for any more plants lol. or the lights for any more. hope thats ok

Afghan Kush Ryder (always been curious about this strain)

Bank: World of seeds (I got my seeds in 2 days)

Genotype: Mainly indica (looking for a sleepy time smoke)

THC 22% (we will see)

Indoor / 25 - 35 gr/plant (25g is perfect for me, takes me about 3 months to go through an ounce)

Resistance to mold: High (need this because I live in a sub-tropical area)

just started her on nutes today so expect a growth spirt over the next few weeks lol

I am glad you brought this up. This was a concern among some participants in Round 1.

The Cage has a life of its own and a "winner" will emerge!

I know this sounds strange, but this is how it works...

The "Winner" will emerge by...

1. Visitors will come to The Cage and give opinions, suggestions and views on the contenders.

2. Contestants will "tap out" when they see other contenders.

3. Also, the contestants are very respectful to each other and will "know" who the "winner" really is.

I say "winner" because this activity is for everyone to learn and to have fun. It does not matter if you have a contender fighting, are a visitor cheering on your favorite contender, a lurker watching from the distance or people who find this thread years from now from a Google search.

Everyone involved is a winner and activities like this promotes positivity for Autoflowers. This is why I do it.

One lucky contestant is goiong to step up for the contest!

I will start one in germ tonight.

Dependant on which pheno shows up it could be well over 3 months to finish.

a fair bit over 2 oz. Most ended up as BHL Blond Shatter. REALLY tasty too.

I'd love to. But out of room.
That cab was just remodeled to hold clones and small vegings for a perpetual.
Closet has 4 now,, and just getting into the perpetual remodel on it.

What started out as a journal on testing a method now turns into a 3 week small time perpetual. (May have bitten off more than I can chew with it though ) Journal is ongoing in my signature starting from the beginning w/ 4 beans. Sort of a Mad Scientist thing.

I'll be watching for sure. Wouldn't be surprised to see some familiar faces pop in.

To the uninitiated -
I couldn't agree more with "it seems to take a life of it's own". The best part is always the journey. The end is anti-climatic. Enjoy the ride.
