Cool, I'm willing to write letters, but... can I get a link to the new legislation? Not trying to sound like a smartass, but I like to know what I'm protesting when asked to raise my voice.

I don't know? you got a link for it? this is a new form about stuff going on right now I linked in my original post I can assure you it is up to date. Its not just the certain revisions or something this is to all representatives about keeping medical marijuana protected and in the hands of the people. There is a lot going on right now and its important you write your concerns about medical marijuana to these people, this form does it for you and it goes to every representative. They are all facing medical marijuana legislation good or bad.

senate bill 377 (SB377) Go to www.legislature.mi.gov search within the senate site for bill 377. This bill would require the health department to notify michigan state police within 48 hours of approval of your initial card or renewal. state police would then be responsible for notifying local leo of cardholders in their jurisdiction. Use the senate link to find your senators phone number. Please call him/her. I did and also called Sen. Booher, the sponsor of the bill. this would be a major blow to us all:!:

Ironic, some lawmakers insisting a law crafted by the people, for the people is poorly written.
The phrase Clean up your own house (start by sweeping every pork infested sell your soul piece of legislation you've voted for under the rug) before making suggestions on what's wrong, and how best to fix my newly constructed, clearly up to code 21st century dwelling.
Simple, straight to the point, written in plain english, no paybacks or pork written anywhere in the law. This is what is considered a poorly written law. I don't consider everything under the sun not being addressed or written into the law a reason to call it too vague either, nor do i agree that if something is not specifically addressed, that action then by default is illegal.
Michigans decline, as far as i can remember started well before our voice was put into a straight forward and simple law.
I believe our political leaders, and the decisions they've made have led us there all by themselves.
My letters have been sent.
Remember who to vote for.
We deserve the government we vote for, none of us are blameless, but all of us have the means to force change, despite
what 37% of citizens and those representing them say.

Thanks for this deprave

I wrote my senator and representatives. An aide to the senator replied and said they need my mailing address and contact information. I responded to them saying anonimity is what we want, bill 377 is goes against that. I think they just want me to prove I live in their district, but I'm not stupid enough to give them my address on a silver platter. But at least they know the citizenry is awake and carefully watching their votes.
