Auto Topping Res Build Help

Okay I am trying to design a way to auto top my reservoirs that feed my plants with my cap ebb and flow bucket system. I am tired of manually topping them off with my fresh water tank.

Little info of my setup: I have 3, 55gallon drums 1 drum is a fresh water tank that the RO line goes into that has a float valve. The other 2 feed my plants (18 plants feed off of 1 reservoir). The problem is my plants drink a shit load of water and deplete it really quickly so I am having to top off my tanks every 2 days. I can't always go to my facility every day or other day to top them off so I am looking for a way to automate my reservoirs. Lets assume that I will have an auto PH dosing system as well.

I tried going doing the whole float valve and live RO line into each feeding res but the problem is that when the plants would feed the RO would start and produce about 7-8 gallons of water every day while they are feeding and when the brain pumps the water back into the res the res would over flow and it caused a flood one time (huge mess).

How would you guys design it? Im looking for any help you have to offer. I want it so that that I can let it do it itself without worry of a flood. The most ideal thing would be an automated ball valve on the cold water supply line to the RO system that I can control from my phone and allow them to refill at night time when they are not feeding. Would love to hear your ideas.

I don't understand what your wanting get a barrel raise it higher then your main res screw in a valve run line to main res float valve and your done 9699multi-pod1.jpg

The problem is when the plants are being fed the res is drained to half way and it fills the res with more water. When the brain pumps the water from the buckets back into the res there is more water than the res can hold and then it over flows. Also I apologize I have the Greentree system not CAP I was just reading a CAP thread before I posted this and typo.

Well i think you need to work on timers and pumps what it floods 2 times a day ?? or something you need to figure out how to get volume back to main res and that is where you need to figure out some sort of drip system or feeder system that will slowly fill or keep system at its desired level

Example 4 floods you lose 4 liters of water in 24 hrs so in 24 hrs you need to have a drip system live from tap or another res that will slowly re fill main res in that 24 hr period
