Sorry if I seem a but clueless as to what im doing.

my seeds have sprouted just this morning and i have moved them into pots filled with coco coir
Its in a grow box with 125w cfl, 1 intake fan and 1 extraction.
All I have fed it is water that has been ph'd

I bought canna coco part a + b and I have no clue whatsoever of how much to add for what ive got and when to start feeding nutrients to my plant

the root has only just sprouted out so how long do i wait before giving nutrients and it would really help if i had some guidelines of how much to use

I would really appreciate any input thanks

when the little fat round leaves are starting to wilt/shrivel up its safe to start feeding them they may have a few sets of leaves by then
thhey have all the energy they need to start off stored already
go light with the nutes and see how they react 1/8th -1/4 str and follow the feed water feed or what ever your bottle says
just try not to keep that coco to wet or they will stunt and slow down on growth
watering with a spray bottle is your best bet at this point

Juuuuuuust take it slow! *raises palms* ;)
It doesn't really need an nutes just yet, just moist coco that has been treated with some calmag.
Nutrients will give it a boost in growth WHEN there is a root structure to take in those nutrients.
If it just a seedling, it is trying to grow roots first, finding moisture and oxygen, setting itself up...
Thats why people say no nutes for the first few weeks and not to wet ;)
If those first fine roots hit a hard bit nutrient, they fry!
If it's too wet, they rot or drown.
Coco always seems much drier on the top than it is underneath, let it dry just a little so the roots chase the moisture.
Just never let the coco dry out completely or it loses it's buffering capabilities.

When it starts to get bigger and yellow a little, move the light a little closer and give 1/4 strength nutes, growth will take off.
If it looks a little yellow again next feeding, go to 1/2 strength and so on... ;)

Cheers Jimmy.

Hi all
I know this thread is pretty old now but i'd like to ask a question about the same senario but using a sunmaster duel spectrum 600w lamp.
if i need to start a new thread about it i will, nice answers by the way they are helping me alot apart from the lighting.
