Auto flower defoliation in week 2-3 flower

I don't recommend it for any plant although some people do. I don't defoliate anything. I'll bend and tuck before I cut.

I would only trim any big waterleaves that cover upper bud sites. I've experimented with leaving them and removing them. Best results are plucking very center and leaving outer or any not blocking bud sites. Never let water leaves sit on each other to where when you separate them there are water droplets. That's where your powdered mildew will start mostly. If your bush is so thick you can't see the dirt from the top trim a few. Alot of ppl think you should defoliate all at once but I've had better luck doing it in stages. One week focus on top bud sites next focus on any struggling water leaves near the bottom of the canopy then only 1 or 2 when you notice a big bud site being blocked by a water leaf that's stretching out. I know someone who pulls every water leaf and still gets a good crop but I don't agree with that method.
