Auto advice for newbie

Getting ready to sprout 16 autos for my very first grow. Gonna go big or go broke trying lol. I have 6 Vast and Fast, 5 Green Crack and 5 LSD 25's all from Herbies Seed Bank. Gonna grow in a 10x10 Mylar 600d grow tent with a "Apollo Horticulture" 1000w dimable MH and HPS light. A Ventech inline fan with carbon filter and 6 inch vent. Growing in 5 gallon fabric pots. I've done a couple months of research on growing autos but everything is different. Just gonna let it fly and try and read the plants and do what they need and when they need it. Any advice would be great.

Just put them in the pots put the lights on let them do their thing. The more you worry about every little thing the greater the chance you baby them to death.

I'd like pictures but i am a weirdo like that. Maybe Grab yourself a couple 54 watt t-5's to put above the seedlings once they pop, Don't adjust or dim that light or ballast imho, just run the damn thing at 1000 or full power once your ready to use it. 1000 watts on new popped babies is a bit much, I suggest a pair or more of 54 watt t-5 lights in a 6000 kelvin range. Bet they'd love that to start.

At this point I'm $980 into my setup, I don't really want to spend more or wait for new light to show up. I can dim down to 400 watts though, do u think that's a safe alternative?

Still need to fill a couple pots though. Gonna set em to sprout tomorrow evening.

big tent for one light and 16 pots...

mine 5x5 one light 5 plants lsd in front about 3 foot around not autos and no room and corners are dark
