Authorized Roor Dealers

so im looking into buying a roor and not really comfortable getting one offline like from edit or grass city. so i looked on the roor us site and went to the store locator and found and authorized dealer near me, so i went there and found a nice one for 325$ and all the other ones were above that price. so i know that roor usa dosnt manufacture bongs anymore and theres alot of talk going on about fake roors, my question is if this store is authorized by roor will the bong i get most likly be a legit roor or a fake

i would imagine that if its on the roor site as an authorized dealer, you'd be pretty sure that you'd be getting a real roor from them.. i don't think that roor would have them listed on their site if they were peddling fake's of their stuff..
which model were you looking at getting??
i ordered my roor from edit, and even though it came on the super slow boat from china, i'm more than happy with it now that i have it.. i got the narcisus(sp?) lil sista.. it hits super smooth, and seems like i could drop it off the third floor and have it not even get scratched.. well worth the $$$ in my eyes..

im actually not sure what model it is but it kinda looks like the mini master on edit which there are two for the same price one orange label and one yellow label at the head shop

the only thing making me beleive its real is the price but the fact that roor usa is outta business, are these just left overs or somthing cause i sure as hell dont wanna pay 325 for a roor thats fake.

i would think that you'd be able to tell by picking the piece up, and also look at the roor "label" on it.. i heard that the knockoff's, the label's are off for some reason..
and if it's a real roor, it should be rather heavy in your hands.. the glass is nice and thick, and it will just feel heavy in your hands..

and even if roor usa is out of business, couldn't a headshop just buy straight from roor of germany and sell them here?? i'm not sure on this, i'm just asking.. it seems like a likely scenario to me, after all doesn't places like edit just buy from germany and sell them online on their site? i don't see why a headshop couldn't do the same thing honestly..

now i'm thinking about it, all i thought that roor usa meant was that they were being blown in the us and not over in germany.. so once again, i don't see why a headshop couldn't buy from roor-de and sell them in the us..

awesome post.. i was right on a few of the things like the feel of the glass, it should be heavy in the hands, and i also knew that the labels were off on the fakes, just didn't know why, now i do.. nice.. i also didn't know about only 3 ice notches on the real one's..
now i'm going to have to go and look at mine closely.. i know its a real, i can tell by the sig, and the trademark and the weight of it as well.. i just want to check it out and look for some of the things that he had said to look for..
just wanted to say again that was an awesome post.. and who cares where the link comes from when it's as informative as that post was.. nice job m8... if i learned as much from every post i read, i'd be a smart man...

EDIT has good german roors... HORRIBLE customer service at EVERYONEDOESIT.com expect to be charged in FULL... and wait 4 months for your item(s)......... ONLY if you bitch at them every fucking day for those 4 months. Happened to me not once, but twice! I was verrry insistent on getting the glass I PAID for.


I'd say 95% of their items on their pages are NOT in stock. Even though they say they are.

I swear they don't even have a warehouse with all their merchandise!




www.aqualabtechnologies.com has reallllly nice glass. With far better prices, and INFINITY better customer service! Their roors are US ROOR though!
