Hey, new grower here. Does anyone know of a reliable, non-scam seedbank based in Australia ? I'd rather buy form a national company since shipping costs from Europe are a bitch.
So just link me the website of an OZ seed bank youve used before that has worked if you can.
Thanks !

Why are seeds so damn expensive... 30-60 dollars for 5 seeds (europe)! thats just insane. they are about twice the price here in OZ..

Seeds are at least 6-10 bucks a pop.
considering you could just buy 5 regular seeds for 40 bucks, have 2 that are female and let them pollinate...
that is at least 1000 seeds per female plant, you can sell those for 2$ each, make a killing.
It seems like cannabis seeds are worth more pound for pound than the bud itself.. there is obviously money to be made here cause that makes no sense.
Im thinking of starting a business...

Why would it be any different than anything else where you are gouged for a product? Im not saying its right, its fucking stupid, but so is prohibition

It isn't that expensive with the return you get. There's plenty of breeders that sell cheap seeds however if you want the best genetics paying $10+ a seed isn't that bad. Especially if that one seed has the potential to yield pounds of bud and hundreds to thousands of seeds

But to answer your question I've never found a legit Australian seed bank, southern star seeds is probably the closest but I haven't heard many good things about them. Personally I use herbies

Yes its true that at that price, it is still worth it.
But what i mean is that since making a massive amount of seeds is so easy, you would expect the market equilibrium to be at a lower price/q.

Prohibition man.....Its the only thing that makes the price higher. Though, youre not necessarily getting 1000 beans off every plant and its not as easy to create quality as you think. Yeah its easy to grow some plants up and let them piss all over each other, but what do you get from that?

That's it hey. I've used pretty close to every bank out there with no issues getting my beans. Herbies, seed city, midweek song, great lakes genetics are all good reputable banks to get seeds into Oz.

I'm just basing it off a few threads I've read saying 1-2k seeds per 1 month veg 2 month flower size plant.
And you you're right, I dont know what kind of quality the seeds would be, but then again... its the most basic natural thing they do, sexual reproduction. So i dont think out of all the seeds you get, that too much will be bad quality. That's just my intuition though.

Let me as those of you who are reading this right now:
If an unreputable source like me offered white widow, or whatever famous strand, at $1 or $2 a seed, would you risk it ? (free shipping with purchases over blah blah, lol).

Personally, the only reason I wouldnt do it is that I look for fem seeds, I dont have the experience to look for gender, and I dont want to worry about it while im growing.
