This is for all aussies to keep each other updated throughout spring and summer till yield

I want this to be a place that we can trade advice, show off your plants or just plain chat.

Lets show that the Australian sun can stand up to the rest of the world in outdoor grows and provide us with some beautiful resin coated fat ass heads!

Aussie Pride!!!!

Hey mate, just germinated my seeds a few days ago and am starting to get the roots coming out of them!

Just wondering when they're placed in pots before being planted in the plot do they need to be in potting mix or does good fertile soil do the job?

Much appreciated!

1st time grower, started 3 plants couple months back in winter, not really a good time, all was going well until a deer came along and ate all plants except one, i then gave that one too much thrive and killed it :( , but then one of the others grew back, it now has 2 main branches already instead of just the one, while pretty small so i hope all goes well :).

oi I STURTY I
as long as the soil is rich and dark if you got any compost that would be ideal other than that potting mix wont fail.

Hey mate,
One of my winter girls looks almost twins with your girl. she was planted in may and has got 2 weeks left till smokkooo. just in flushing phase at the moment. Hope yours is going well i was surprised that my baby grew so well through winter. i gues they are right about australian MJ growers when they say we dont really have a "grow season" Instead our season is From Janurary - December.

I planted 7 seeds into soil 4 days ago and they poped up yesterday morn. i got 6 in the photos and another that i chucked into my veggie garden hoping it will do as well as my tamatoes. Im looking forward to a great 09 10 grow season and will be following this thread very closely.

Hey guys,

I've been potting round indoors during winter, experimenting and preparing for a micro-grow. Was ready to start outdoors and would be germinating this week, but I'm now moving in 3 weeks or so and am not sure if I'll have my usual outdoor grow this year :(

Ahh well, hopefuly I will, and this time I'll get some good genetics!

put my seeds in papertowels the other day 27/30 seeds cracked in 36 hours, went to bunnings and some other local shops and bought pots, organic soil mix, blood and bone, potash and trace elements, mushroom compost, cow and chicken poo and some water soluble nutes witha npk of 25-4-6 for veg stage. me and a mate put the germed seeds into a seedling tray yesterday, should be good.
gotta dig some holes on sunday bah

you wont need the potash till the plants start showing preflowers.
wait till you feel the plants are ready to go in the bush and get your holes dug before hand.
Go easy on the water soluble nutes since the organics should provide enough nutrients. One good tip i have when the seedlings are a week or two old give them a diluted shot of nitrogen I believe this increases the chances of females and watch this
