Well thats interesting Eche, thankyou, also just recently, studies on a drug called Pimavanserin, show signs of relief without the psychosis... More good news... Was wondering if any strain softens the muscle spasms?
The one strain I can recommend based on personal experience is Delicious Northern Lights x Blue... I've grown it before and just got a pack in from herbies a couple of weeks ago, the beans are germinating right now... The following review is basically spot on and would defiantly help muscle spasm based on my own personal experience (lower right lumbar/lower back)

I use mj for nerve pain. Nerve pain is very hard to treat, yet a couple of billys a day sorts the nerve pain by at least 80% in duration, frequency & intensity. It works by taking it everyday. I have noticed that some strains are better than others at treating my pain but any pot will do. I would suggest that hash oil would be the most suitable for most medical conditions & it can be taken orally.

Current parkinsons medication is very psychoactive, leaving one with hallucinations and psychosis...have no idea how mj could react with these medications...?

This study is implying that the use of cannabinoids is a way supplement a pharmaceutical treatment in the future it specifically mentions;

The growing number of preclinical studies and clinical trials with compounds that modulate the endocannabinoid system will probably result in novel therapeutic approaches in a number of diseases for which current treatments do not fully address the patients' need.

The big question is when will this becomes more than just trials ay Ech?
That is the million dollar question - considering all the info. coming out, especially the peer reviewed scientific papers that are supporting the use of THC/CBD in therapeutic treatments either as the main or supplementary prescription. I would rather advocate for full legality in lieu of using MMJ as a stepping stone to achieve such ends considering it is far less harmful than alcohol and costs the taxpayer next to nothing financially and socially.

Surely the u.s have done all this before? Or it would never have gotten the green light? With our government becoming the u.s's wingman more and more every day, it would be fair to say they will use their model of 'mmj'
To introduce this too the public...whatever makes them the most cash right?
