Theres another way to make fem seeds too, i havent tried it but if u get unripe (green) banana peels n put them in a sealed container with your seeds, replacing them with new green ones every few days for about 2 weeks it feminises your seeds. The banana peels release a chemical or something that promotes female growth. But feminised doesnt mean you will get 100% female plants, you run the risk of getting hermies with femmed seeds. Anyone tried this methhod at all??

i think this method may work because riperning bananas release ethylene gas which is used to promote female flowers on male plants. so it might work with seeds but you also might just end up with moldy banana peels and rotten seeds. but worth a try if you have plenty of spare seed.

Let us know how it goes google it first, there might be a bit more to it. I was just looking around at how to make fem seeds with colloidal silver n came across that method. I thought that would be safer that using colloidal silver and its organic which makes it even better if ur in perth send some seeds my way, I would be happy to take some off your hands haha

Hi Folks

I just wanted to gauge on what people think is the best potting mix to use? I am a bit confused with all that is available and have settle with some yates premium professional and mixed perlite/vermiculite in it. I am doing a semi indoor/outdoor grow. I also have an autoflower super cristal as well..all potted using yates. Is this the best or are there better ones that also feed the girls? I am also using seasol for nutes.

Suggestions would be great as i have done a search and havent found much info in regards to local growers.

1 plant is $300 fine yeah? 2-5 is $500 fine? 5+ is court and criminal charges?

makes me laugh, i bet they just burn the stems, and smoked the rest, destruction costs,

hey guys im quite new to seasol, thinking of buying some auto flowers putting in some organic potting mix 70/30 with perlite. how far into growth should i start using nutes, and do i use regular seasol or powerfeed? :s

dont use powerfeed, it, make your weed taste shit, and see sol, in real small doses, in the vegative stage, might be all right, but i wouldnt go into flower with them, as you need better control of your nute levels,

and dont forget, the 3 day flush at the end, in pure water, once done,

flushing is heavily watering ur plants with straight water to remove all the build up from the nutes. ive been told to do this a week before harvest. some have told me earlier.. but basically the point of this is to make yo organic buds taste how its meant to taste

n thanks bro ill stear clear of seasol. i was wanderin what to use for autos durin flower. i might look more into biocanna, anyway... time for another one

hey mate the rules in sa changed years ago, my mate got done with 2 plants and got court. its one youll get the on the spot fine and two you have to go to court and prove your not dealing. my mate eventually got no conviction and bout 1000 in fines. pluss court fees

Thanks for the advice re seasol and powerfeed. I found proganics hydroponic growth parts A+B and i am going to use that instead. Have you use d it before or heard of it? Is it any good?

Powerfeed wont make ur weed taste like shit,ive used it for the last 3yrs along with seasol through veg and flower with the only other additive being potash during flower,ive had good results,they never looked hungry and always looked happy.

if power feed is organic like seasol then it shouldnt have any effect on the taste of your buds.and if your growing organic i dont really see the need to even flush.flushing is for peeps the use ferts full of salts.

look intro nitrozyme , its the fking bomb.its almost the same as seasol but its so much more concentrated.

SLH (east coast Aussie cut)

Greetings, I've been passed this cut made famous by a group from round these parts I heard.
I like this cut, she ain't a grail but has some worthy traits.
First of all she is greasy as hell, long dense smelly trics. She stinks to high hell aswell, on the living plant and dried buds.
Bag appeal is phenomenal.
Runs 9+ weeks. Stretches madly for 3-4 weeks, first trics around day 21 she takes her time to warm up.
Smell is lemon fuel candy camphor cools the nose upon smelling.

She grows into a perfect bush, sets long colas that position themselves perfectly without shading out other limbs. Very handy.
Yields good/great but don't chop too early.

But she does have some bitch traits like bugs absolutely love it and she gives in easy to them.
She vegs slow, so kinda lacks vigor which ain't a big problem because of the nice stretch.

She smokes heavy and will fuck your chest out the bong so I recommend vape.

Taste..... is... thoroughly... dissapointing! Sad I know. Promises so much, however I'm not a fan of the woody hazy flavor, each to their own.
Effect, also not her best trait. What can I say, I rolled a huge greasy sticky purple fatty last night and well I was quiet functional, I'd have to say the effects were balanced and subtle, and this is well cured gear. I find it can be alot more violent without the cure jolting you up and down left and right like an amusement ride.
That said, I'm a head and smoke highgrade buds but this will rip your head off if your used to the tric-less shit that is around the ways.

Her immense resins, growth style and aroma being her best traits, I'll will be letting her go but first preserving her in seed form,
mr Nice Afghan skunk IBL daddys make total sense to me, anyone else got an insight into what I'm saying regarding this cross. It makes perfect sense to me and should throw some insane plants.
