yea thats wat ive heard...depending on how ur going about it...if u startin off indoors or from seed outside...

i think from seed, mid to late sept
if startin indoors, i doesnt really matter ur jus gonna have some pretty big plants the earlier u go

Dp my mrs lol, I jus caught on...
Anyways share wot u know brother being that "how to outdoor" keeps getting asked being the season is coming up..
So how do you grow a plant in the bush start to finish? Dig a hole and plonk a clone in it? Prepare the hole first and let it breakdown for how long? Water how often? And wen do u chop, by tric color? How big does a plant grow outdoors, as big as it's genetically programmed to? How much does an average hybrid yield in the bush that was watered and fed well?

SCG- thanks for the props buddy.. It's actually a SOG but they got a bit tall cos I had to veg them for around a week while I rook care of a bad lockout issue

i want trees in my backyard this season! im going to be planting early :D
Start of the year i replaced the old small fences separating us from the neighbors to really tall fences that know one can climb up to see whats on the other side ;)
the neighbors were really happy coz the old fences were falling apart, so i basically helped them...help me if you know what i mean :p

Buy all the parts from bunnings
and wire them up
another idea is to use lead lights
they are cheap and have clamps to hold them in place
also to buy the short extension leads (7 bucks each) and cut the female end off then wire up a Batton holder or light holder
I found it cheaper than buying each part then making the units up
Also pk13/14 users do you know thar your ment to run that shit by it's self
no nutes or anything ( says so on the bottom) just get ya ec to 1.2 then ph
any one do this , I don't and I wanna know who does and if it works better
By Lead lights do you mean party lights?

just had a thought and need some opinions...

i need space and my mother plants take that space

if i grow them out but first take about 6 clones. when those clones establish well, ill top em and clone that cutting...that way i keep getting my 6 clones....my only question regarding doing this is whether it loses its potential via cloning clones continuously

im no expert on the matter but my understanding on cloning would suggest no. I mean your taking a 100% copy of parent. I heard 4-5th generation clones are actually ideal. Donno how true this is though.

I prefer to keep original mothers from seeds. 2nd Generation is about the strongest most strains get. Eventually your Genetics will start to break down (takes a while though). I had a mate lost his entire crop cos his clones Hermied through a genetic breakdown. This isnt a LAW though, there have been people who claim there plants have been getting better & better from this continually cloning and flowering.. But it's Rare.

hmmm well i spose ill have to re-plan...i sorta thought it wasnt such a great idea and like u said it works for some strains and for some people...and id prefer not to risk it at the moment

its not actually that i need the space but im changin my whole system of growing...going all DWC and the mothers will be outta place...but i just thought up an idea for the mothers anyway

my initial problem was that i only have 4' fluoros in veg and at the moment i have clones sitting next to the mothers stacked up on blocks to equal height cos thats all i can do at the moment...n i fuckin hate doin it...then in front of them is my clones etc prepping for flower

see top left side o the photo is my little cloner box...stacked up on old tool boxes n timber so its roughly similar height

since that photo, ive replaced the cloner box with a similar size bubble cloner but yea

eventually across the front will just be 6 or so 5-10L buckets vegging up some clones that will; go into 20L buckets come flower time

so in saying all that shit, im gona but the mother pots inside another bucket or pot with no holes so i can fuck off the grow tray and yea...thats as far as my ideas have gotten

Righto, yeah they are on special this week walked past a whole bin of them for under $10, they seem to be quite largwe and cumbersome and I'm doing a cabinet grow so I'll stick with my free party lights but I feel they would be pretty good for supplementary light.
