48 popped, 6-yo seeds into Jiffy's (more viable seeds have also popped, but I'm not going to stuff around with them).
These are now sitting @ 22C in a temperature-controlled thinggie that I Magyvered (I also need to germinate my chilli seeds for the upcoming season, so this is just temporary).

Fwiw, my chillis are starting to grow again.
Grew them last Summer and got some decent hot peppers. They had a short break over Winter.
Red Savina, Thai birdseye, Firecracker.
American son-in-law has plans for hot sauce.

Definitely black (deep purple) was one of the Wedding Cake pheno/seeds I got from Barneys, via a Spanish concern.
More recently, seeds have come from... Send me a DM.

I lost the first one in years recently.
The seedbank wrote “garden beads” on the fucking pack, so no wonder they were inquisitive.
They sent the same old letter they used to, plus another about some beetle.
Best part however, is they took out all the seeds in the name of bio security, but completely missed the freebies tucked in there.
Very odd, stupid or nice, I’m going with stupid though.
Came through Brisbane, which is also strange as mine nearly almost always come through Sydney.
3 more incoming so we’ll see…
