Giving outdoor growing a try. Is it normal for plants to start showing flowers mid spring?
We're getting full days up to 14 hours right now so i would have thought it would keep vegging.

They're not in a particularly sunny spot due to neighbours.
Yes. You put them out a touch to early. You may get xmas buds or they may reveg.
A tip is if ur throwing them outside early or growing thru winter if ur weather allows is to use supplemental lighting. Even a cheap solar light will keep them in veg mode.

12/12 does not apply to outdoor.

@DustyDuke Got a couple lights out pics so can see the structure on em. Getting some funky smells out of them now, fuely dog shit funk on one of them and a bit more fruity on a couple the others. No hint of balls on any of them either which is always nice. This is Day 34 so a lot of bulk still to come.

If you've already got the gubbins to start-off inside & then move the girls outside to a greenhouse (as previously mentioned), then the world's your oyster. It all depends on what you want to achieve & what medium you're growing in. Obviously, if you're in a pure hydro. setup, it's going to be difficult, but in soil or coco, it's doable. You also want to time your up-potting to match the transfer.

In my research on doing exactly this, I came across a couple of sites:

This is an article by Royal Queen Seeds that explains the choices you have to make. It's geared to the Northern hemisphere, but just shift everything by 6 months for Aus.: https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-how-to-start-your-cannabis-plants-indoors-and-move-them-outdoors-n399

Google Suncalc.org

It's an absolute boon! You can plug-in your exact location & it'll give you precise calculations of sunrise, sunset, daylight duration etc..etc.. F'rinstance, where I am, current daylight hours are just under 13 hours & will peak at 14 hrs 46 mins on 22/12/19.

You can also play-around with dates to know how you want to time your move outside.

I'm not going to simply give you a link, as it would give away my precise street address!!

Edit: Sorry, SWMBO took over the laptop before I could finish what I was saying...

This all depends on what you plan on doing for your own schedule - I just assumed you intended to start inside & then move outdoors once established. If that's not your agenda, then please ignore my presumption........

Frosty as all fuck!
Yeah night shots always look pretty sweet. I still have a bunch of beans of this cross, like more than 200, so if they turn out good will be able to do a big hunt.

They look real nice
So far so good although to be honest I was hunting a mango pheno like their mum but with an easier trim like their dad. If they lean more towards dad no worries cos the Goofy Grape was and is dank.

Thats an interesting Goofy Grapey pheno you got there I reckon, wouldn't be surprised if that one has some purple in it in flower. Sugar mill looks promising for sure man.

Yeah there seems to be 2 pheno types to me their all like that bar 2. They have slightly lighter skinnier leaves I’ll take a pic side by side to see what you reckon next time I’m in there.

Thank you! Getting pretty excited now,, so nice to have the good stuff back!!
NH wasn’t bad to smoke but a nightmare to grow, takes like 16-20wks and horrible bud structure + foxtail central and a tendency to hermi towards the end.
It’s been quite some time between beauties
