Hey fellow aussies,
Just wondering if anyone uses Reiziger nutrients? I've been using Canna but its too damn pricy. Reiziger seems as easy to use as Canna and about half the price. Can anyone tell me how the quality and yeilds compare? I'm after a basic easy to use line of nutes, still pretty new to this. Cheers!
Ehh heard good and bad. Apparently their first batch into the country was hella hot and had the wrong directions so killed a few crops but apparently they’ve sorted the issues now. Personally I prefer using powdered nutrients over liquid because fuck paying for something I get free out of a tap.

Do you use a specific dry nute brand or mix your own up?

I think we can both agree cannabis specific nutrient companies are a fucking joke.
Most are but there's a couple out there who are putting out good gear. House And Garden didn't start out as a company targeting weed and have the best all round feed plan in my opinion. Med Tek Nutrients are another one I like, the base is very similar to H and G Cocos but they take a different approach with their additives. As for cannabis specific nutrients I totally agree, the only "specific" nutrients that I think aren't a gimmick are the Coco specific ones.

Australia can be a bit of a pain for getting some of the raw base salts. I’m currently using megacrop because I’ve got a bit and it does a decent job with minor alterations at time. Are there things I’d change about it? yeah. Can I change what I’ve got? No but they have a new line which would that essentially packages the cal nite separate turning it into a pseudo jacks 3-2-1 without the Epsom salts (maybe a little).

While I’ve never used them I’ve seen others get good results from general hydros maxigrow and maxibloom. The maxibloom goes well in the lucas formula apparently.

Personally I’m keen to find something ag/greenHouse grade I can buy at the local feed store for my next base nutrient.

Problem with going the raw salt route is scale, if you are only running a couple of lights buying 20Kg bags of individual salts doesn't really make sense to me. I get a full veg and flower cycle of 24 plants in with a 5L of base nutes which cost about $90, additives are the ones that start costing a bit.

I don’t really run many additives that aren’t salts like mpk (cause lazy mostly and just like that kiss approach) but since I’ve switched to a powdered base nutrient (mega) I’ve pretty much eliminated nutrient costs for my grow which was my second highest cost under power.

Yeh I hear you on the dry salt route. I have run the autopot branded salt nutes in flood and drain hydroton setup worked well and fairly cheap.

The salts aren't too bad to find, as long as you can find a greenhouse/nursery supplier they generally do some retial. I use to buy bunnings coco and flush and buffer it myself. I bought the cal nit etc. from one of those suppliers they even did 5kg smaller lots.

I have eyed the yara kristalon brown as I've seen it mentioned before I think grower in europe was using it. 25kg bag with a bag of cal nit would last me a loooong time.

I was using Accent dry nutrients for my last outdoor in 200l plastic bag pots of rockwool flock.
About 20 litres of food/water each day, with a weekly double flush, to drive some run-off.
Was doing very well until rippers...

Speaking of rippers, just got a bag of a drippers (Floraflex long rocket with 60° connect). $15 for 12 via eBay.

Any hints re setup are appreciated. Will try to install today (halfway through flower cycle). 7 gallon fabric pots of loose rockwool.

I'm currently finishing off my med tek base nutes. Not too bad, was happy to support G lowe as well lol. Too bad he isn't apart of the comnpany anymore.
