hahah thats when i whip out my other double fluero and set them on a lower level at an angle :D

But ok 4-5 plants max is the key?
yea i only gots 4 medium sized plants under the one fluoro...its sorta perfect, leaves dont overtake each other and the pots fir perfect

my other fluoro has 12 smaller plants under it...too much but all will change soon

im going to the pub
imo vegging under the fluro is ok but just ok
i would never flower under it as i like big dense sticky buds not fluffy ones(im sure you can get big bud with clfs and fluros)
but bang for buck 4 plants close up need a 400w hps to get good buds

i donno why you would do verticle?.....wouldnt that expose the underside of the leaf to nice hot light?.....arnt the underside where the stomates are?....wouldnt that just kill the leaf and then the plant?

What type of light you using anyway?

Im using a 600w cooltube moded to hang vert.
Ive seen some good grows using vert 1000w lights but no one tells u much about what they are doing to get their results

I'm going vert next grow too. It makes the lower branches produce more so you get decent buds from top to bottom.....supposedly. The leaves adjust themselves accordingly.

Im at no stage in the grow to give advice but all the bottom tips/tops whatever you want to call them are going great.
I gave the plants a fim at 1 foot heigh and they are filling out nicely.
This is just a trial run to hopefully learn some vert tricks for the belladonna on the next run.

crusty crutch...2rusty?

Split personality?

Well if you have seen it done then i guess it should work....i just thoight it would damage the leaf is all. For my grow if i dont manage to get a HPS in time im going to get my other lights and place them lower for the bottom leaves :D

I've heard somebody say that placing lights too low on plants shocks them and causes more lower leaf growth to shade its weak inner nodes or something to that effect.

My "Amsterdam Bubblegum" seeds have finally started sprouting after 5 days. I have two 10 day old seedlings of my own strain already planted in net pots. Me thinks its time for another grow journal.

Hey mate i have next to no indoor experience thats why im asking the questions.
This will be my second indoor effort so i know there is still heaps of trial and error left.

Hey XxninjaxX how do you think 3 plants around a vert 600 cooltube will go?
