well i had a look it looks pretty shit ay wasent expecting mutch better tho thought while i was there id check the tent low and behold fucking knats think im hunna use this soil for som thing else and just get some canna terra should never have bought that thing into the grow room well fuck it iv delt with knats easy enough iv got that tomato dust shit will that work against knats eather way im just gunna wait till theres no more knats flying around that potato bag is bak in the shed now might just toss seing as the stuff in the tumbler has gone mouldy two im temp o well fuck it im gunna use the soil as is any way im gunna germ a seed in it and see what its like lol just for shits n giggles

iv decided im gunna use this soil as a top up for out door stuff im gunna get a back of canna and use that instaed as iv got more exp with also i decided to put a pinnapple chunk from barneys farm im gunna veg untill the autos done then im flipping so a month or 2

These are the first plants I ever grew when I was 18. Didn't know a thing about growing so I planted 2 random seeds in winter, both grew into tiny little stumps with a bud on top. It came to spring started re-vegging so cut the bud off and let it go again and they ended up branching like crazy into these crazy sativas. Didn't give them a single dose of nutrients the entire time, just dirt and water. Still hands down the craziest weed I have ever smoked despite it looking like dried grass, real nice sweet smell, flowered forever, I probably cut them around week 16, could've gone longer, but the high man, jesus christ. This shit was like taking acid

The real greatness of it was that there was no ceiling to the high so you could just keep getting higher and higher, after 2 hits everything was waving and covered in vibrant psychedelic colors while you're vibrating in a wave of euphoria. My friend just left his job when I harvested this and he decided to take a month and a half break before getting another job so he just stayed at mine pretty much the whole time and just smoked with me. We smoked so much back then, especially doing 30 cones in an hour of that stuff, I almost fell through a glass table I was so messed up, could barely walk. Was impossible to construct a sentence haha

Now that weed with some lsd and dmt at parties was a pretty fuckin' groovy time

got a rookie DTW hydro question for anyone who knows this stuff: Ive been looking at a couple feed charts and most suggest water only every 3rd watering or so to get rid of salt build-up. Is the idea to water till run-off with pH correct water then feed nutes straight away or just leave water in the rez? Not mad keen on the idea of leaving them with water only for the 2-3 days it will take to need another drink. these are all being bottom fed at the moment so the medium shouldnt have much if any salt build up at this point

Mate if your going to do soil indoor your going to have bugs of some kind it's just the way it is and it's not the end of the world just try and keep their numbers down. That's one of the advantages of using an inert medium

Hempys aren't really DTW they are more passive hydro,the whole flush every 3 weeks isn't really appropriate for bottom fed hydro because you only get salt build up as the medium dries out the salts attach themselves to it so when you water again the dried salts become available again spiking the e.c in the root zone. With bottom feed the medium should be moist constantly as the top dries it wicks moisture from the bottom via capillary action. To prevent any chance of salt build up I use H&G drip clean at 0.1ml per litre and never had salt build up. If you do flush the medium you get better results if you use phed nutes at 1/4 strength

Yeah could just be my understanding of it but to me DTW is drip or drain to waste with hempys Ive always bottom fed so that's the way I look at it as a bottom fed passive system

just jokes. dont do that. if you marinade it and chuck it on the coals it'll get covered in shit and you won't be able to eat it.

a nice simple barbie marinade: a decent splash of teriyaki sauce, a couple cloves of crushed garlic, a tablespoon or so of olive oil. mix it all together and marinade your stuff in the fridge for an hour or more. chuck it on the grill and then slowly dribble the marinade on it when you're cooking. its best with beef but good with chops and chicken too and is near impossible to fuck up.

I make a fuckin wicked version of the above marinade using blood plums and cinnamon. takes about 3 hours all up to prep and cook but it is off tap.
