It would defineatly take off but will be shut down by police sooner then it took off ahah

Lastly my next buds probably won't be as I am probably going to have to use LED due to serious electricity usage.

hey jimmy these days LED's are coming into there own. i have seen some really decent grows lately with really good results. they are just starting to get the spectrums etc dialled in but there is no reason to say you wont get yields with LED's because its just not true anymore. go check out THEDAWG's Led grow journal

hmm more stoner ramblings...oh well, i'm baked atm so i'll ramble too - jimmy, if you talk about how difficult hosting is and how easy it would be traced before trying the page i posted, i'm going to find and slap ya :-P if you find the page, feel free to use your awesomeness :-P or those of any friends you may have that are so inclined to hack it or at the very least tell me what the real i.p. of the server is - there is nothing illegal or important there so leaving it up 24/7 for people to try. putting an open source forum there would be a few hours effort but a custom application to do really kwl stuff would be an ongoing project as i'd want to know well or write myself every line of code that would go on into it so i know it is safe :). what i need to work out is how i do this without placing myself at legal risk; afaik, creating and hosting a hidden anonymous forum is not against the law but i would shy from any transactions taking place there. if people can't find the ip of the server then i don't need a hosting service, i just host it myself. the way this tech works, even my own network doesn't know it is there :)

so that would be my sole angle in all of it - can organize and make the stealth tech work but would keep out of the actual grower activity and people sending stuff to each other. in return, i would expect to be kept nicely baked on top of breed herbs :)

as far as organizing live events goes, there are bush raves happening all the time, can always be part of or go on their advice. i've been to ones where the piggies were invited to watch out for drunk troublemakers. in one of those cases, i've blown a smoke (herbs) at one of them (i was pretty high on a lot of things at the time, not my usual behavior..lol) and he had no interest in hassling me for it, gave me a 'really?' look and moved on :bigjoint:

anyway, that's enough ramble. going to miss the batch of AK i just finished :cry:

do you think an online voting system is possible to set up, if someone else did the distrabution, n tracable stuff??for the awards


and how do we protect the growers/members, so its safe to enter the comp.?

plus what are the rules, how many catagories, what is the list of requirements to enter, cant make it to easy to enter, what lights used, soil/hydro,how many strains can one team, enter, etc..etc..

from what breaders, theres hundreds of things to sort out, before a cop could even, turn on his little blue lights.

and lets work on the principal, it will get shut down, eventually, if it starts working well, cant we just start a new site for the next years harvest.

think of any time invested on it as your effort to say ftp

dude, all the tech stuff is easy, some things take more time than others but everything is possible. as discussed, and one of the things jimmy and i seem to agree on is that distribution (lets call it exchange in our case, we're not talking about commercial activity) is always the weak link. if someone who does that well looks after that side of things, everyone would be safer.

Wonder if you might get a smaller sentence for larger posession then. When you do big grows like 50+ plants you get charged with commercial possession usually with intention to distribute but if you were a part of this cup thing they may consider a smaller sentence as you could get away with the intention for distribution saying it is all for entry into the cup.

i dunno, jimmy, as i ve said im a different kind of grower to you,

i would defo, want the bigger guys to enter, cause then the quality will rise, so, the saftey is really for the larger grow ops,

ps..... dont tell everyone my ulterior motives jimmy, id love to change the way weed is looked at in this country, so, under 99 plants would be considered normal, for one grower.

once you go past 100, that not personal, use, but i can understand wanting 50/60 plants at various stages, would basically be the minimum number to be able to select the best weed for the judges, and some for yourself

:? get their browser bundle and follow the installation instructions - there is lots of other information on how to do complex stuff and be even safer there so it might look daunting but we're taking baby steps approach so stick to browser pack, that part should be simple for anyone
